This is some of the best mountain bike photography I've ever seen. I love stuff like this that totally captures the essence of riding. Not just hucks but also the sweat and effort that takes place for countless hours to make it all happen.

The one with the fireys sitting at the bottom with the mountain in the background. I've never seen the sheer scale of the course like this before. Unreal. Go on Brendog!

After watching Where The Trail Ends, and seeing these pictures, I think it's time to expand Rampage. Make it annual (or more frequent), and change the location to some of those other rad spots around the globe. Maybe rotate 4 destinations over 2 years, so that we get a rampage style competition twice a year and still get this location every 2 years.
  • + 3
If they decided to do that there would be so many injuries!
  • + 1
Having it annually is in the works from word on the street..
  • + 1
Was annually for 4 years...what happened? Can't say it got to extreme for the riders, as the riders of today are ripping it way bigger then the first 4 years of rampage. I do not know the stats of injuries and such, but doesn't seem any more severe then the first 4 years. Yes, bring it back to annually! Seems everyone from riders to fans are always super stoked for the Rampage! Why deny us of what has been THE biggest progression of mountain biking of any event...period.

Anyone know if this will have replays like the world cups on redbulls site? I was planning a night around it...

  • + 1
Gutted. As we saw at Crankworx he can hold his own with the slopestylers, but it's this kinda stuff where he really belongs. Fingers crossed for McGazza!

I am super stoked to see the Rampage. Big fan of the old ones, but seeing them 'revisited', mountain biking has progressed alot! Kudos to all the riders actually digging and making their lines, not the ones that are going to just rely on a super sick tricks off the Oakley ramps. Gotta say, true Red Bull Rampage should not have anything man-made brought in and constructed, defeats the whole purpose of what Rampage was originally born out of. So for all you guys that send it without the use of Oakley Ramps...hats off to you!

Pinkbike's coverage and buildup of the event is amazing. Making us feel like little kids in a candy store. Great Job !
