If he had a DJ bike, he would have won the race..
  • 23 4
Or a hardtail with like 140mm travel
  • 189 8
Enduro would have won the race because enduro.

 Parkour Pro Vs. MTB Joey....
  • 94 0
Shoulda been danny macaskill vs parkour pro
  • 33 1
 filip polc vs parkour pro
  • 43 37
Editing was ok and the concept was a nice Idea. If the rider (I use that in a very loose term as well) was on a mini BMX he would have probably rode faster and smoother......
Poor bloke couldn't even lift his bike when jumping, and those skids........ Never mind the fact he was trying to make it look like he was putting the power down!!! hahaha, if he'd selected a lower gear, he'd have accelerated quicker and looked less of a fool in my opinion. Loads of visual movement without the actual propulsion.

As stated above though, this would have been better with a street rider or trials rider performing equally as good jumps/tricks. A few badly controlled skids didn't really do it justice. Never mind the fact that it was declared Urban DH in a town that is as flat a a crack whores arse. should have done it somewhere that actually has a gradient in the town, like Aberwryswith or something.

Woah, you are a really mean critic.
  • 10 2
Critics aren't mean, they're honest. Plus the bike does look a bit heavy. Maybe if he stiffened up the suspension, certain shots would have looked different Smile I still like the video no matter what. Sucks that he didn't win though!
  • 9 5
Constructive Criticism isn't always seen as a nice thing. I'm sure they may well see different points of view to what people think of their work. I did like the video but there was these few points that I thought would have improved their concept. Not everyone can be false and big people up, whilst secretly bitching about them behind their back. I prefer honest, straight to the point comments. If there wasn't substance behind the comments made then I'd argue the case. If however it is something to take on board then you would in positive way. People strive for perfection. You NEVER get close to perfection if you don't try things. You have to make mistakes to learn in life.

 God that music is awful
  • 4 2
If I had to guess, I'd say he only rides park since he couldn't out-peddle the runner. Obviously that DH bike was not the right choice for this race. But one could hardly call that guy a Joey.

I done a roly poly once and rolled in to dogs poo ,made me sad !!!!
  • 3 0
 that is gnarly
  • 1 0
@jammy2bad that made me chuckle ,funny c*nt!.
  • 52 1
 Those unnecessary flips though...
  • 81 4
 bit like whips then
  • 6 0
According to the video, if the biker was doing flips and spins all the time as well, then he would have won. That was the deciding factor for the free-runner.
  • 29 7
Even mountain bike unicyclists think parkour is lame.
  • 21 2
Well.....I didn't stop it so.... I thought it was cool. Entertaining for sure Well done
  • 16 2
Totally cut up to look like an even race in my opinion, even the bit in the lift was basically 'the stig'. Ten outta ten for effort though.
  • 5 1
I'm 99% certain that was Basingstoke, they don't have a hill in town big enough for a proper race.
  • 7 0
Basingstoke! Thats where it is. Recognised it but couldn't for the life of me remember the name. Now I can sleep tonight. Awesome Video
  • 2 0
 Ha - blazing smoke.
  • 3 0
 Amazingstoke
  • 17 3
 Sweatpants = Automatic DQ
  • 1 0
I'm not into parcour, but I guess guy fits their dress code.
  • 1 0
 no sweatpants=not true freerunning
  • 10 1
I know who's ankles are gonna be in better condition in 110 years time!!!!
  • 14 1

  • 10 1
great video, but almost as rigged as top gear
  • 2 0
 Top Gear's rigged? Damn!
  • 7 1
 I guess if I couldn't afford a bike I would try........forget it.no I wouldn't.
  • 1 0
 Haha..... Love the honesty
  • 11 4
welp, there's 4 minutes I'll never get back.....
  • 8 1
Parkour. Invented by thieves running fromthe police.
  • 5 1
Is it now mandatory to wear a neck brace to ride down steps? I thought Hans No Way Rey taught us it was possible in lycra on a hardtail, perhaps the full face is to hide this hero's shame?
  • 6 0
Disappointed, expected something like Klassen's feature on JIB...
  • 9 3
 Stupide
  • 3 3
You make yourself look stupid, when you spell stupid like "stupide"
  • 2 1
@Woodbridge2, ever stop to think that the Dane above spelt the word in his own language?
  • 4 0
 @reverend

Guilty as charged. My apologies go to @TigerNF
  • 1 0
 No Problem! its german.
  • 6 1
I was thinking long and hard about making a comment but ....
  • 6 0
 Shoulda gone clipless
  • 4 1
Everything was cool until he got the moto at the end. Why? Bike alone is not good enough? Didn't get it.
  • 1 1
It's a nice idea and very well staged/edited but there are obvious cuts and re-takes that lose the flow. I reckon also that the Freerunner was probably quite expert and the rider was just a guy someone knew. Stick the freerunner up against CG or Gee Atherton and CG would be sipping on Champagne for a good 15 minutes before the free runner turned up all sweaty and breathless. Moreover though it didn't thrill as an edit (in my opinion)
  • 3 1
Something you'll never hear on Pinkbike - "Awesome! A Parkour video!". Where was his lame ninja outfit?
  • 2 1
Oww look how cool downhill bikes are, they can get out sprinted by a man running. Just another reason why downhill bikes are the most impractical bikes out there!!!!
  • 4 0
They aren't called pedalefficient bikes... Of course they won't be good for that
  • 3 0
And im pretty sure unicycles are more impractical. The guy should try outsprint a dh bike down a mountain.
  • 3 1
The performances were nothing special but the video and edition itself was good
  • 4 0
I know right, that's how I climb bridges all the time too. Pah!
  • 3 2
That DH rider, can't lift hes bike, maybe he need BMX, and that parkour was to relaxed, like, lets do some spins and flips. That was not sirious.
  • 4 1
why is that guy in the sweatpants running around like a crack addict?
  • 1 0
see the thing is you can rarely look cool doing parkour but you can slightly more often look cool riding a dh bike off big step gaps (if only there were some big step gaps)
  • 1 0
Wow, so many people giving seemingly serious comments in here on the stupidest video ever made. The Nascar vs skater race is soooo much more way cooler guys. :s
  • 3 0
How to make urban dh look pretty lame...
  • 1 0
props to the athletes and the film makers. ignore these negative nay-sayers who couldn't storyboard or concept an idea to save their lives, let alone edit an iPhone vid.
  • 3 2
Good old Basingstoke, pretty cool to see someone else riding the same shit I do
  • 4 2
Not impressed - it doesn't feel genuine in the least bit
  • 2 0
What neck brace was that guy using? Looked more like a spoiler.
  • 4 2
 That's 4 minutes I'll never get back.
  • 5 7
It's like comparing David to Goliath. Only where David is has no stone, is mentally challenged, and gets crushed and eaten alive by Goliath. Never compare downhill cycling to something lame as parcour. It's the little mentally challenged sister of extreme sports.
  • 2 0
wow, I'm tired just watching that, so much uphill pedaling
  • 1 0
How about Filip Polc versus David Belle? and an actual race course, not a choreographed video...
  • 1 0
This might sound dumb but why dont people use like DJ tires for urban downhill?
  • 2 0
Looks at his watchless wrist in the elevator
  • 2 1
Yes, but which is more fun?
  • 2 1
Which is hotter, Megan Fox or a dead corps?
  • 2 1
Is it Megan Fox's corpse, and how long ago did she pass? All important information...
  • 1 1
It is indeed her corpse. Only one week old, but the head is missing. Spent the first two days floating in a river though.
  • 1 0
OK I'll take the real thing then Lol
  • 1 0
 Welcome to cycling bro Beer
  • 1 0
basingstoke, drone footage, parkour, urban downhill, whats not to love
  • 1 1
downhill is not proper bike for that race... danny with bronson or akrigg with teocali is the best...
  • 1 0
 Hahahahaha so mellow dramatic
  • 1 0
Well that was a bit cringe worthy
  • 1 1
Well, it was bigger bullshit I have expected!
  • 2 1
 well done.
  • 2 4
 Sorry 10 ha ha
  • 1 0
Holy f*ck Eek great jumper man!
  • 3 6
