Jamie Edmondson has announced on social media that after two years he will be leaving the RockShox Trek Race Team.

The past two seasons with the RockShox Trek Race Team has seen Jamie secure some great results with top 30 finishes at World Cup races while also winning three U21 EWS races and taking two second-place finishes.

bigquotesThanks Rockshox Trek Race Team and all our partners for the past two years, we’ve achieved a lot and learnt even more!

Still trying to find something for next year but I’m sure I’ll see y’all at some races.
Jamie Edmondson

It sounds like Jamie doesn't have anything lined up yet but we'll update you when we get any details of his plans for next year.

@pakleni: avoid something like buying another mountain bike, try something like an open relationship with gravel bikes

 I heard chicks dig acoustics.

@pakleni: the trick to be so busy she never has the time to say "we need to talk". If the thing that keeps you busy also tires her out you are onto a winner. I found three kids and a dog is the sweet spot.

@HardtailHerold: I can verify that 2 kids and a dog is not quite enough....

Majority of pro athlete social posts say they were happy to be “apart” of the team. Then I’m left to wonder if they’re happy to be leaving or if they meant “a part” of.

 Conscious uncoupling lol

It's a euphemism like "passed away" that doesn't add value to a sentence, and can also be a confusing idiom for ESL speakers.

"Left" or "is leaving" would suffice here.

@Torbo24: I think that's better, as it's clear the intent is to suggest that it wasn't acrimonious.

Would "after two years it is time for me to move on from riding a Session, to a bike that looks like a Session" be better?

why not leaves instead of parts ways

Leaves makes it sounds like it was Edmondson's choice whereas this sounds as if Trek's choice. 'Parts ways' is nice and ambiguous

 @nateb: Trapezoid?
  • 3 2
@Roost66: Not close. A trapezoid has as many similarities with a cube as a sphere does.
