Mick Hannah is retiring this Saturday in Snowshoe and to celebrate his incredible 20-year long career, the team and sponsors decided to make a special jersey with all the races he entered since his first pro debut at the Junior World Champs of Sierra Nevada in 2000.

We also wanted him to have a special helmet and added a little Sik Mik logo and the number 89, his first-ever number plate when he raced BMX at 6 years old.

Sick Mick raced 105 UCI Downhill World Cups, 18 World Champs and stepped on the podium 20 times.

 Would be nice if Red Bull allowed a televised full run even if outside the top 20.

 And the frenchies on the hot seat better get off their ass when he crosses and give him the man the respect he deserves. If they don't, I'm sending in the good ol boys to start coughing on folks...

 Mick is one of my favorites. Always loved his style, and willingness to throw down stuff like no handers on runs. Seems like a cool dude, too. You've gotta have some serious love of the game to stick around for 20 years. Goodnight, sweet prince.

 I didn't comment on the previous announcement of retirement so I just wanted to say congratulations on a great career. Well done on having the work ethic to develop your talent and being able to pursue your sport as your career. Your runs have been fun to watch over the years. Cheers.

 is this guy sponsored by... VHS tapes?

 If I'm not mistaken it's a chainslap protection company. Their product kinda looks like black mastic tape to they package it to look like a VHS

 @Gregmurray50: www.airdropbikes.com/products/vhs-slapper-tape
It's a chainstay protector thing, but it looks (and works) much much better than mastic tape.
