We all know that if there isn't a WC there in the next two years it is only because of the UCI demanding an exorbitant amount of pocket money.
This looks like a clearly better/more demanding course than most world cups with a location that is legendary in the MTB world.

I agree. There are areas like the super steep chutes where it looks like you have to slow down dramatically to navigate and can't just send it.

In case you are unaware the purpose of that is for course marshals to indicate when a rider has passed by them to alert the next marshal out of site. It is not simply to annoy you.

@captaindingus: common misconception. Wild boars are a significant issue in British Columbia. If they made it onto the track they would pose a serious hazard to the riders. Thankfully they are easily warded off with a simple blast of a whistle which is why you hear them consistently blown down the length of the track.
