Not exactly when 70% of them are Red Bull is it?
Most sponsors have precise requirements in terms of how their logo must be displayed ( Monster always above dark/black etc...). If you add this to the fact that the amount of money a sponsor pay is directly related to the size/space/location it can be displayed on, painting a crazy lid for a pro is no easy task.
Plus, as someone said, trend and fashion play a big part in painting a lid; even though I wouldn't mind having the helmet equivalent of a michael Ange, very few people would. Many are those who want something that looks 'fast' I think.
That being said, I think Redbull lids generally look cool (brand identity done right) and some appear much more detailled than other ( Rachel with all the trees in shadow, Bruni's, Semenuk, Andreu's galaxy like helmet etc.. ) proof that these helmets are still tailored to the athlete.
@jcrrr13 : I think athlete are more happy to sign with Redbull for their stelar athlete policy rather than the helmet.
