Love the series and I wish the team to have the best success. Couldn't Pinkbike/Outside hire someone who's whole job is to organize everything ? It seem like a lot of responsibility and stress for someone who is racing downhill.

Carhro would be doing a tremendous favor to the sport if he quit managing the team and got in the booth for commentary. Switch jobs and let Cedric manage the team next race.

@HelterSeltzer: I sorta prefer Cedrics English to Ric. F ≠ Th.

@mcleodpulaski: If they need an senior French guy, You know who might be really good, who really knows the sport and has insights to share? Fabien Barel: youtu.be/jCamEdJjCp8?t=1137

@HelterSeltzer: not just commentary... let him running the show .. with instant replays with ghost riders comparisons and line choices.. how great DH would be again!...

@HelterSeltzer: Indeed, altough I was thinking more on how I think it is kind of dangerous to have the load of managing the team, figuring out logistics and everything plus racing downhill at the same time.

It seems rash to me to being doing both things at the same time and I'm not saying that's why Cathro got injured, but I wonder if he would have been if he could have just focused on the race.

Really like these videos but I wonder if Jackson Goldstone will gain knowledge from Ben's outstanding analysis or gain heartache now knowing he could have won.

He will at least know his short legs aren't fast enough. To add the live feed commentary sucks actually.

It'd be heartache if Andreas made that mistake and didn't win because of it, after years of trying. Jacksons gonna win one very soon, he'll be right chuffed with that result.

knowledge. the kid took the situation in full stride. he gave mad props to Andi, and was stoked to be on the podium. Peaty, Minnarr, Nina and Laurie are such good mentors to surround Jackson. May his career be fruitful!

Sorry if I missed it, but I would have liked to hear what happened to Danny Hart. He was solidly in the green at Split 4 and then, from what I heard, one of his wheels came apart or his tire came off the rim... something like that. Heartbreaking, no matter what. (Yeah, I'm a Danny fan.)

Thanks to the miracle of EdBull Media House you can see exactly what happens to Danny here: youtu.be/h2V5mT0PQfw?t=445 Ed cuts away for a sec but you can see when he comes back that Danny's front tire is completely off. The DSQ is interesting. I think with the new taping you're seeing people not quite knowing where to get back on course, not that it mattered here. But Wyatt Harrington got DSQed at Lenzerheide for example, for rejoining in the wrong place.

@The-Foiling-Optimist: it was mentioned in another thread that he had outside assistance removing the ture.

@The-Foiling-Optimist: DQing Danny for what happened was complete bulls*it. His front tire was coming off, and he crashed on the edge of the track because of it. Didn't seem like he could do anything to avoid it, and he definitely did not gain anything by it! Later in the feed you could see a marshal cutting his tire to take it off the wheel, so it's not like he was racing after that. There was no point in DQing him, the person who made this decision is a moron.

@Murder-One: And that was the reason for DQ in this situation??? Wow, just wow, like I said, moron. We really need to ditch the UCI form this sport.

@The-Foiling-Optimist: Huh weird. Ed can get a camera up there but GCN Can't? lol.

@Cheddar420: This is everywhere on GMBN Racing: www.instagram.com/p/Ctl2N5ignhi - Well covered on the live feed too

He did gain from it - or he would have done without the DQ - Finishing last in finals even if you take 10 minutes to walk down gets you 30 points. DNF and DQ gets you zero.

We need to build a track with 10 corners like that in a row with the drop between them, like moguls. That'll be Hilarious.

Did you guys see Wyatt's crash on the gram? Like someone through a sack of potatoes from the roof into a sand pit. Bonkers!
