Interesting analysis of the Fort William coverage. There was 21 cameras on some runs and most of the track was covered with cameras (or that drone to watch an ant). They did miss the spot where Greg's first crash occurred and its a nice piece of track, although probably more difficult to have a live camera on than other sections.
The track was beaten up, those top turns were hammered and the riders were having to inside many of the turns to avoid the holes. During B practice the track is tickled, 30 mins into A practice and its destroyed, they hit the corners that hard compared. The track was being repaired during the day and at night as well as the sweepers removing any large rocks on track during practice. the size of some of the rocks removed by riders was mad, there mush have been some destroyed pedals out there!!!

Gregs first crash was (barely) visible on camera. The camera is pretty high up but you can see it when the timer at the top left is at 1:47.

Just stop using the word quiver ffs
PB even did a podcast with their own journos on it laughing at the usage of these banal, clichéd terms banded about all the time in mtb media.
Oh and yeah Frameworks for my quiver please.

What other word would make you happy? Fleet? Plethora? Collection??

Serious question - who has the most 2nd places ever?
I think Troy must be right up there
  • 2 0
I feel if french people didn't exist Troy would be the GOAT for sure.

@lonewoolfe: According to Wikipedia, looks like Greg is also the GOAT of 2nd place finishes, with 26, lol.
And 3rd place finishes, 17

Looks like Troy is tied for 3rd for most 3rd places though

Troy can't even get a win at being 2nd, would love him to rack up some more Ws though.

@jgoldfield: ooh good stats link thanks.
Unsurprisingly, Greg's stats are completely insane!

I love that for an article idea! The most "almost" wins! Bc yeah, Troy has been on a million podiums it seems like.

The poll is missing the option "Not informed enough for a proper decision, but want to see the results"
  • 3 2
The ability to make and defend uninformed decisions is a requirement for anyone residing in the PB comment section and your confession is shocking, to say the least. Sorry to say but you don't belong here. Sad to see you go.

Not running your dog for a year or 18 months is insane, I’d start mine on short rides and I’ve always avoided long flat sections. Start short and build up. If I didn’t run my malinois as pups, they’d have eaten the furniture

I enjoyed that. Keep them coming.

The use of the word "yeah" in this video is excessive. So yeah use it less.

a drop down menu with all the bikes should be an option. None of those look particularly interesting.
  • 7 1
Agreed. Especially with Gamux and Zerode in the mix.

Nice option for future poll! I didn't have the capacity to look through every single model of bike raced haha but maybe one day!
