yeah, he sent that tiny kicker about 20m down the trail. The kid was having a fun little chill ride, going slow, nose bonking and shit. Claudio was out of his mind as usual. Great fun
He mounted the gimbal incorrectly. With the weight of a gimbal you need to attatch it to a second strap to hold the actually gimbal mechanism from shaking around. Not sure why he wasn't using the GoPro Karma grip btw?
@tremeer023: after the boardwalk it starts to get interesting, i meant before that it's boring, def not entire upper section as it may sound from my first comment.
Besides that jump the new section was not a good addition to the track. Whats wrong with the world when they buff out the Fort for the best riders in the world? Whats next? Cutting out the lower wood sections in Saint Anne with the yummy rock gardens? So tired of tracks just going backwards, moar roots, moar rocks, moar off camber grass. Should be a rule of how many berms they can have per kilometer of track or something.
If you want to sell new bikes, the new bikes have to be faster. 29" don't like narrow, twisty stuff but they do have a lot of grip on these open turns.
To be fair to Moir I've never seen someone take it more casual in front of Claudio and still pull such a massive gap in him (granted this is also partially down to how tough the course is). That kid would be out off sight so fast if he was going for it!
Yeah I'm sure the commentary would be better with no commentating.... idiot. Claudio talking all the way through it is the best part. Actually its the only reason people watch it. Course previews are boring compared to this.
You can do it it's all up to you oookkkqaayyyyyy
Something Gwin has never heard.
