Review: EXT ERA V2.1 Fork
I own a V1 that got updated to V2 internals. By far the best thing I’ve ever ridden. I can’t get anything else to even come close. The faster you ride the better it gets.
I hate that they try make them not user serviceable though. They aren’t especially complicated to service but you do need some special tools. The distributor refused to even sell me the tools so I had to machine some myself. They also hate selling spare parts.
That kind of shit can F right off, and for that reason I don’t recommend anyone buy these forks.

Field Test Review: 2024 Commencal Meta 5 SX - Supercross for a Reason
Disappointing commencal is still having frame issues. My Meta am 4.2 from 2019 was a nightmare. BB shell was oval which resulted in creaks, loads of misalignment in the frame which destroyed bearings and shocks, everything was dry as a bone from the factory and the pivot hardware rattled loose often, even with loctite. For some reason it even killed the lower headset bearing regularly.
It really put me off the brand

UPDATE: Nukeproof, Vitus, Chain Reaction Cycles & Wiggle Face Uncertainty as Parent Company in Financial Trouble
Never thought I'd see the day CRC closes. 10-15 years ago the used to be the goat. The pricing was great and the international shipping was great (I lived in NZ at the time).
Then half the products I wanted to buy were geo blocked, Then they were acquired by wiggle and things went downhill from there.
Now the website sucks, Nothing is in stock, the pricing is not competitive and the shipping is outrageous. I haven't purchased anything from them in a long time.

Round Up: 19 Bike Industry Jobs Available Right Now
Why am I not surprised the company that sells 5k frames pays employees terribly. How the f can you ask for a college degree on an 18/hr job... ffs.
My advice, get good at something, programming, a trade, etc etc, and go self employed. Then you have direct control over how much you earn and what hours you work.
Don't waste your entire life making someone else money.

Tech Week 2023: Pole's New Vikkelä Ditches the Motor, Keeps the 190mm of Travel
I cant see myself buying one, but I definitely appreciate the engineering that went in to it. Always to be good to push boundaries, whether its geometry or construction techniques etc.
I also see Joe Nation absolutely ripping on some local trails, so they are clearly fast in the right hands

@blackapturphoto: I was talking to a local business owner last week. He had lost a lot of bookings (mostly work christmas doos) due to the fact that one/two members of the group is not vaxxed.
I help organise events in the local community. There are a couple of kids who I have to tell I need to exclude because they/their parents are not vaxxed. Trust me thats not a fun or fair thing to do.
FYI, I'm 100% pro vax and am fully vaccinated by myself, But I will not support ridiculous discriminatory policys that only serve to divide us.
