the whole time when he was doing all that crazy stuff i was just like "dont fall dont fall" cause trials riders have really crazy props. trial riding takes a lot of talent.. i give you HUGE props man. i love that stuff

I Disagree. this video is f*cking amazing and trials guys do have crazy skill but you cant really compare different riding disciplines. theyre all pretty different. see id probably say that dh takes more skill than this but then some park rider might disagree with me and then a dirt jumper would disagreee with him/her etc etc etc. but anyways, sick video! definately deserving of VOD

I completely agree with watchmefly. I think the reason some people might find trials very technically difficult is because it take a lot of practice to get to the point where one is doing things that are somewhat impressive to watch, whereas anyone who has some experience on a bike can go down an easy downhill run and have fun (slowly, of course). However, an expert trials rider and an expert downhill racer (or road racer, or dirt jumper, etc) probably have put a comparable amount of work in it...it's just that in trials you first have to overcome a big learning obstacle, whereas in other disciplines it is more gradual.

Like 98% of all the other like minded trials riders viewing this video(again and again)I'm thinking,(besides that Neil is a badass) I got some work to do, and I thought I was getting kinda good with my picnic tables and road barriers.Ha! I love trials, it just takes practice, belief, and patience...or just a lunatic with great balance!

I always find that it's a pity that Ryan Leech is the only trials rider that most people know about... He is skillful and has a very graceful style (in my opinion), but there are so many riders out there doing things that are equally and/or more impressive. Too bad they don't get as much publicity.

how can you say he's better than ryan leech?! this guy has strong explosive power, amazing absorption technique and a really good eye for distances, but compared with the diversity of ryan leech's skills, particularly insanely good balance and fluidity; doesn't compare.....

yeah but the hight and the distance of the gaps are just huge..and dont get me wrong Ryan is a solid rider but this guy has amazing skill and i think silaslecake has a bit of a point about the publicity.

Here is an older bail video of him. The old echo rims sucked and liked to cave in. lol
