I know aye! A lot of vods on PB i've noticed are quite easy tracks. Most of ours here are uber hard. Like this for example..... www.pinkbike.com/video/113094 thats one of our normal tracks.

Lol, i'd like to see you try it. A quote from Justin Leov (trek factory rider/new zealander) himself "Most of the tracks in NZ are built at the same level or higher than many world cup circuit tracks", he said that at the nationals round yesterday when we were talking to him about the track.

if you want to pay for me i'd be more than happy to come and ride it.

thats statement doesnt mean that this track is, and just beacause its built well doesnt mean its hard. Champery was destroyed after the world cup, an the track builder even said it wasnt built as well as hed hoped. but F*ck that track is pretty hard

I wouldn't classify the track in the video you posted "uber-hard" and you should keep in mind that videos are deceiving. The track in that video is probably quite a bit steeper than it looks and is probably quite challenging, but I can say that I can tell that from the vid.
However, I have personally rode the course in this video and can tell you that it is an extremely challenging course built on very steep terrain where the dirt is quite gravely, so traction is a bit of an issue on this course. Simon regularly competes in world cup and is on the canadian national team, placing 43rd in the world in AUS this summer (winter for you). I short you shouldn't judge a track from what you see of it on a video, the track in this video is by far the hardest course I have ever ridden and was built by SImon as a training track for the 2010 WC season.
