I dont suport bmx whips iether! whips arent style just pointless ugly effort. and every DH'er seems to do them, even the realy good guys?

well in some cases a whip can help you set up for a corner or a diferent line, most the time its just playing around on your bike though. id imagine its a bit hard to do any other kind of trick on a dh bike while racing too

Editing fail o.O you can only use slow-mo so often...in other words...not the entire video...just sayin

the agressiveness and speed of DH with some of the style of dirt, well worth the POD, so siiick.

Hmmm, I find their videos are often zoomed in too much so you can't see much of the jumps or where they are jumping to. You just see them flying through the trees which isn't really that interesting after a while. They make some awsome edits, but its just something I've noticed.

@Shred-NZ... yeah you might be right? I'll suck up my pride and give one a bash next time I ride. any tips for a first timer?

Whips are awesome, they feel great. Also if your scrubbing (rather similar to a whip) you can go a lot faster.

Yep. Download the source file from the coastal crew vimeo page and convert to an ipod friendly format.

Definitely way too much slow mo, it gets really, really old. Despite that, the riding and filming are both freaking awesome.
