I'm sure he's a great rider, but it's awfully hard to tell, with the editing being so frantic. I'm all for dubstep in bike videos, but not if the clip is edited to match the beat. Would love to ride that area, though!

I have to disagree. Its frantic, but that's how it should be. If you're making a movie the editing should fit the music and vice/versa as it creates the whole package. I find nothing worse than watching a video edited to the wrong song or not following the feel/beat of the song. I think the guys who made this did a great job, fast/technical riding, entertaining environment, smooth camera work, quick cuts to the beat, slow mo and glitch effects when needed.

Boardnz: I agree with you that the song has to match the video. But when it means changing the video so much to do so it just ruins it. Your missing out on soo much good riding. the filming looks really good but it's a shame the editing didn't match it.

In time with the beat is good, but this is far too heavily edited. With the blue/red colours etc. Would be good if the scenes just alternated every 4 bars or something simple. Think about the epeleptics mate! :p

I don't know about you, but I think it would be pretty cool if you made the video like it was part of a story or something, because the way it's filmed and edited makes it seem like the rider was under surveillance or something

I don't care about what everyone is saying. That was epic. It was different, i doubt it would be VOD if it was just normal riding and editing.

The word "dubstep" means nothing anymore, its changed so much in its short life that people just call any bass heavy EDM "dubstep" take skrillex for example most of his songs are not "dubstep" but people just think he make "dubstep" so all his songs are "dubstep".

Totally agree with the first comment... Great riding, but the video is just not that good overall... Dubstep, unnecessary effect, and constant cuts in the clips... :\

That 3d effect really effed with my eyes. Great VOD though, I couldn't imagine how long it took to edit this.

The music goes well with the edit, i must say i wouldn't make an edit like this and i wouldn't want to watch many like this but it's original and i haven't seen much like it before! it's sometimes good to see a change of editing, just my opinion though

I agree, could be an awesome video if we actually saw him riding. I'm all up for the wubwub bike movies, but there really isn't any point in it if you can't actually see how fast and stylishly he's riding.

Editing to the music taken to another level- not entirely convinced- I think it works but be good if he did it a couple of times during the song rather than thru the entire thing. However it defo kept my attention.

And because you logged onto Pink Bike expecting the same old DJ or DH VOD, and you didn't get it so now you don't know what to do so you just bag the crap out of it. Didn't your parents teach you if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

I agree with the majority, it's a sick video and all, but it's just gone over the line for editing. You could barely see the rider in a scene for at least 2 seconds... All in all it's a great edit and the music was awesome.

Great editing, I bet the vid has turned out exactly as it was intended and it is a top class job, but it's not a video for people who want to see kick ass, exciting riding. More of an "arty" almost technical exercise.
I don't like that type of music, and the vid annoyed me a bit with how jumpy it was but It's taken some skill to put it together.

ridden that track it scared the bejesus out of me! shits all over old Champery, which i thought was difficult. This is steeper, more off camber in sections, longer, less forgiving (somehow?!) and down right f*cking nuts! Seriously impressed with how he got down that so quickly/smoothly. A shame about the edit takes away just how difficult it is in sections.

Am I the only one that didn't think the editting matched the song at all?
That is probably one of my favourite Netsky songs (although he has so many tunes) but the editting completely missed out what I thought were the biggest drops and was chopping and changing on sections of the song that I thought flowed together quite well. Just didn't feel right IMO...
EDIT: nvm, listening without head phones on seems to make it better oddly.
