after i heard and read about this accident, it made me want to rip the trails 10 times harder just to come even remotely close to how hard this guy ripped and how much of a recovery he has already made.
Stay strong Stephen

this is one of the best vidoes i have ever seen Stephen Murray is one of my largest idols. TJ is an incredabley nice and caring person to do this for stephen. i agree with kellyrom that this video should be VOD and with Cantthink everyone should buy the t-shirt because Stephen and his family are going to need all the help they can get and i wish them the best.

i agree with ghostman that was deep. i am actually going to go and buy one of those tops now. stay strong man!. lavin actually made a song for him thats, amazing. what got me even further is stephen murray is from newcastle not even a hour from where i live

EVERYONE GO BUY A SHIRT TO HELP SUPPORT HIM, HOW CAN HE SUPPORT HIS FAMILY NOW WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO RIDE. $20 a shirt but that is very little if you think about it, thats about 3 dollars a day for 1 weeks worth of coffee.

sumit v similar happened to me, paralysed my leg(through a head injury with a helmet on!!) , broke my hand, smashed my face etc... yet i am fine now, i was so close to the end so this is all so emotional and i wish stephen all the luck in the world.
POSTIVE THINKING is the only way i got back to twitching my toes, standing, walking, running and even riding harder than i ever used to.
good luck man

MAJOR PROPS TO Stephen Murray.

At the full in-air height of the trick, Murray flew off the bike and landed on his head, crushing the C3, C4 and C5 vertebrae in his neck. Murray flat-lined on the way to the hospital, but was revived by the team of EMTs in the ambulance. In the days following the crash, Murray underwent two seven-hour surgeries to fuse together the bones in the upper part of his spine and place a small titanium cage around the bones, from C2 to C6, to prohibit any future movement of the spinal cord.

In my town, bmxers and mtb's dont get along, and are constantly fighting. But im happy to see that everyone can come together here and show some real respect to a great rider, no matter what size his wheels are. Stephen Murray, you are a beauty, I'll buy a shirt in hopes to see you shred another day!

Stay strong Stephen. I totally agree with guys, who say that we should buy something from his foundation site, but plese remember, that there are loads of bikers like that, although we do not know about them because they aren't famous. My Dad is a doctor and one guy after bike injury (i do not mean normal riding, but jumping!) even died in his hospital! And I don't understand why we can't see this crash on the internet. I know it was brutal, but it could be some kind of warning to all of us! Oh, and I'm not the one who loves to watch people crashing...

this is a painfull reminder that life is to short for nonsence. so make the best and most of it while you can and dont let anything stop you!
Murray, stay strong bro! You WILL ride again!
I'm looking into the possibilities of ordering a shirt to Finland, it's the least I can do for you...
Ride your hearts out.

this video is a great tribute to stephen and i waned to see if i could find out more about stephen as a person and what other people thought of him,, i went to you tube and found that he wasn't just a good guy he was an inspiration to everyone. - + 13
dude the guy nearly fucking killed himself and all you say is i wanna fucking see the crash . Show some fucking respect dickead
- + 13
So let me get this straight. Your the guy that posted this video www.pinkbike.com/video/16807 in order to get sympathy cos you were hut by a car and couldn't walk for a few days? And yet here you are writing that on this video. Two faced much? Show some respect.
- + 2
agreed. thats probably the most selfish comment i've ever seen on pinkbike, and there's some pretty lame comments out there. this guy is lucky to be alive, even though its probably the worst thing you'd ever want to go through.
Stay strong man, hope to see riding again.
ps, i thought they taught people like "greg4all2" to respect others in kindergarten
