kids got amazing skill for his age. should definitely wear a helmet though. especially at his age. its tough to wear one though when most of the bmx pros make it seem like your a pussy if you wear a helmet. but then just look at what happened to mike aitken.....

If he doesn't want to wear a helmet, what do you care... It only takes one whack on the head to realize it sucks. I don't wear a helmet for street either. Every year tons of surfers get killed surfing big waves all over the world, you don't see those guys preaching life jackets to each other. Sports like snowboarding, surfing, MTB, skating, etc come with inherent risks that everyone accepts when they take it on... if you choose to add extra protection to yourself when your ride, good on ya... it's a great idea for sure, but I'm getting tired of the whole "where's the helmet" thing.

You can't surf in a life jacket!!! To paddle out you have to duck dive waves and this would be more dangerous with a buoyancy aid!!! Nowadays true big wave surfers use a mini can of compressed oxygen that they have strapped to themselves in case of emergencies. They also have life guards on the beach and water patrol on jet skis in the water. I suggest you stick to talking about what you know.
If you're not wearing a lid when you ride then it's not only you that's taking a risk- you're jeapordising the spots where you ride as it will only take a few fatalities to close a bike park.

Everyone is so bent on the helmet thing, when I was his age bike helmets didn't even exist... we all rode our bikes as hard as him, maybe not shredded like him but we still did it. He's like 7 and he shreds, I'd say shreds harder then 60% of the 15 y/o kids on here, and if his parents are cool with the no helmet think, give it a rest... I think he's sick!

Wow that kid is pretty cool, he could put much older riders to shame, he has balls. Oh and its off topic but whats the big deal with the helmet comments. Before you start neg props, I wear a helmet most of the time when i ride but ive never once in 5 years fell on my head or needed a lid. I think its personal choice if someone wants to wear a helmet, its nothing to do with it being cool or not, its just personal choice, whether its necessary or not. I would encourage people to wear a helmet if they feel its a good idea, but someone qouted above : "Without a helmet its all worth nothing" Thats just stupid. Anyway, the kid is doing good and should keep riding.

You remind me of me!! I rode my mini bike till i was in my teens. I once bunny hopped 13 kids laying on the ground. I also out jumped my friend on his 50cc motorbike. Keep riding wee man!
