O'Neal Welcomes A New Rider - Prizing Update

Not only is Santa on the way, but O'Neal is proud to welcome a new Team rider to the O'Neal Family for 2012!

Well over half a century after Jim O'Neal found his passion for riding on two wheels, the euphoric feeling of freedom and speed never died; it only improved with every ride. After 5 successful years in the mountain bike industry O'Neal has now found the perfect match for the Team.

This new mystery rider claims, like many of us, that the day he learned to ride his bike is when it all began, that was the first day he really started to live. For O'Neal, riding bikes goes beyond the realm of just being a sport, it's the ultimate feeling of freedom.

 by process of elimination by the wheels (enve sponsership) it could only be currently Greg Minnaar or Brian lopes. Going by the red grip clamps, i would say Greg minnar, However the saddle is opposite colours then what is normally used. Best guess is Greg boy.

 I can't believe that people know who is sponsored by which companies down to tyre sponsors etc.... I never really pay any attention as it's all a load of rubbish- if it's Greg then he'd rip in flip flops. It's just a way of getting us to part with cash- they won't make you ride like him. I learnt this lesson in the 90s with my Nike Air Jordans.

 Hard to say. Minar has been with alpine stars for years now and I find it hard to see that relationship with them going away. Greg wears clips and is not wearing his signature shoes. But the enve wheels and highroller 2s make sense. Oakley isnt making gear anymore for 2012 only goggles. So it could be lopes or mitch. Im leaning more towards mitch because there are rumors that tld is giving big money to lopes to get him onboard with them. And lopes would be running his kendas not any maxxis.

 thats not Greg Minaar, because the bike has Saint shifter, and Syndicate only ride SRAM. Unless Greg is changing teams, but doubt that.

There are a little thing called contracts that athletes have with sponsoring companies. Which would most likely having Greg wearing 5.10 shoes in all races, events, and advertisements. No need to get your panty’s in a bunch because I gave my opinion that I don’t think it is Greg Minnar.
