Brian's All-Star Weekend was absolutely awesome. It's always a nice to meet people that you admire and respect and it's even better when these people that you have looked up to turn out to be such great people too! I enjoyed just hanging out more than anything. I'm pretty sure they won't forget us at that local Tehachapi bar that we went to... - Eliot Jackson |
Being a Jet skier at heart and becoming a biker I was a little intimidated at first . I always heard about Woodward facility and with that said it didn't disappoint, even though I'm pushing 49 and big jumps could hurt - maybe that's why I stayed in the foam pit. I'd like to give it up to Brian Lopes for organizing such an amazing time! It was great meeting all the all-stars and challenging myself. Happy Birthday Brian and keep pushing yourself you inspire me and many others, can't wait for the next one. - Victor Sheldon |
Such an amazing weekend. Being involved in BMX, MTB, and moto over the past 20 [to] 30 years it was amazing to see friends from all different sports and disciplines. Sharing old stories and creating new. To be 47 and have the ability to ride and spend that kind of time with all of you was incredible. On top of that to share that with my son is something special to me. Thank you all for making it such a memorable weekend. - Randy Lawrence |
It was an honor to be included in Brian's All Star Weekend at Woodward West and witness all of those amazing athletes. I can't wait to go back and redeem myself! - Levi Leipheimer |
It was so cool to get to ride Woodward with such an elite and diverse group of guys. I wish I grew up with a Woodward camp. All the BMX and MTB guys ripped but what was crazy was how fast a lot of the moto guys that don't ride picked it up. They were doing back flips into the pit and going pretty high up on the mega ramp quarter on random bikes after just a few runs. I was stoked to take it all in and not leave in a cast. - Todd Wells |
I was blown away the first ever time I watched Brian race, as the years went on and I had the chance to race against him it was always a pleasure and extremely tough to hang with him. To be where we are at now and enjoy his birthday celebration here at Woodward West with so many amazing people and athletes it was a very happy and positive riding weekend. We all are big kids but I really felt like that grom hanging on the fence watching some of his favorite riders ride. Thank you Brian for all the years of killing it and everything that has evolved from your career. - Jake Kinney |
What a great couple of days at Woodward. Thank you to every single one of [the riders] for making the day so memorable. I hope [everyone] had a great time and we can do more fun events like this in the future. I also want to send out a special thanks to Jake at Woodward West for opening the doors for us to hold this, to GoPro for hosting the BBQ dinner, Pearl Izumi for hosting the breakfast & supplying us with the budget to capture some rad pictures and video. - Brian Lopes |

Where's all the lady rippers at? Seems like they could have at least come up with a few for this nugget gathering? One? Two?
