Spring ’15 Freeride Collection with Brett Rheeder, Cam McCaul, Tyler McCaul, Kyle Strait and Kenny Smith. We got some great footage of our Freeride team from our spring ’15 shoot. It's always fun doing an edit when you have a team like this: Brett Rheeder, Cam McCaul, Tyler McCaul, Kyle Strait and Kenny Smith. The guys absolutely crushed it on this edit.
God dam Pinkbike these days. Trying to study for my most important exams yet is impossible with the amount awesome videos their churning out these days!!
@Milko3D I'm pretty sure I read about Logan Peat being went to university a few days ago. He's a unbelievable rider. Also for me it means going to uni in fort william. Just saying....
@onemanarmy@felimocl There are plenty of educated riders, a lot of them are also writers, photographers, editors and so on... It was just a joke, apologies if it came across as offensive comment.
@milko3d, I don't think either of them found it to be offensive; Felimocl was just stating that riding and studying can happily coexist together. Onemanarmy was making fun of your grammar (or lack thereof ) to make a point of studying in earnest if you're going to pursue further education. If somethings worth doing, it's worth doing right. So study hard, ride hard, party hard- all in due time!
That was so awesome. Seeing Kenny Smith on slickrock is a wet dream come true. Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the first shot of Rheeder sitting there, is that rock outcropping next to his face the phantom drop Dunne and Bourdon sent? That drop is absolutely monsterous.
Remember one of Rheeder's first edits riding a DH bike out west and he - like all easterners who make the trek - was just hanging off the back bouncing off berms all the way down the hill. Now he charges. And charges hard. So sweet.
totally agree man, ive always thought trek made incredible bikces for the c3 riders, and then not such a good job on the production ones, at least make limited editions or somethin, marketing trek
Serious question--why are freeride bikes usually 160-180mm while DH bikes are 200+? These guys are getting rowdier than I've EVER seen at a DH park, by FAR.
The new Fox lineup is looking really good! I hope the new Flex Air tech trickles down quickly to mtb. If you have not checked out the Fox Demo, Nomad and Savant lines check them out.
I did understand that beforehand, that was written in jest. Clearly no one would be stupid enough to ride their old bike while still under sponsorship with someone else and put their future sponsorship deals in jeopardy... you'd be as well shooting yourself in the foot lol
nice looking stuff.....are there many freeride bikes left now....i thought freeride was an unused term these days.....i have a freeride bike but have noticed less of them about these days....good to see a change from all the enduro branded kit thats been everywhere the last couple of years.
//probably doesn't happen by watching videos either, but oh well...
Also for me it means going to uni in fort william. Just saying....
It was just a joke, apologies if it came across as offensive comment.
Yesterday was a strange day, sleep deprivation does weird things to the brain
Cheers!
Considering how cool and colourful treks c3 riders bikes are they did a pretty shocking job of the production ones compared to other brands!
@gramboh 9.8 park? Are we missing something over her in the UK?
