@slayerdegnar: If you watch the video again Wyn says they aren't going to talk to Trek as they had declined an interview earlier in the week. Nothing to do with Gee's crash. I have nothing against Gee and I hope he heals well and is fit for Leogang.
any updates out there? His wrist looked pretty hurtin at the bottom. couldn't shake hands with people. Gee's a warrior and deserves our respect for what he does and his commitment to racing. I wish him luck!
Ed Masters has never been looser....Forgot I was watching a world cup, between his run, and Adam Brayton, the whole live feed had more in common with a Remi Metailler whistler video than a world cup...One to remember, and #longlivechainsaw!
@zepper: it was hilarious when he struggled against being passanger on his bikes in the woods, los and subsequently entered the woods. Slapstic at its finest! He just keeps delivering - on and off the bike! D
We were watching in the woods yesterday for all of the men. I have never seen so much carnage and top riders struggle anywhere. Eddie was lucky that he did not hurt himself. Troy was a mess as he said through the woods. Only a very small few got through nicely. Minnaar was amongst the best. The best was someone on an old school anchilotti with what looked like them old school wheels.
What a day.
the guy on the ancillotti was probably johannes von klebelsberg he's one of the best racers in Italy and the bike isn't that old school it's the new one...but yeah actually it's identical, anyway word on the street is thats still a sick bike
@voyd: thank you for the info. He was dialled through the woods. They were known as a great bike back in the day, just people were not keen on the pull shock and the custom chain device as you couldn't get spares at the regional races. I used to dream of owning one though.
Serious sports interviews are boring as shit 98% of the time. This is much better. If I want to hear about someone giving it their all, putting in the miles, staying focused or any other cliche I can just turn on ESPN or read one of the other 30 articles about the weekend.
I guess I wouldn't call those kinds of interviews awesome. I mean some good candid thoughts from racers. I still enjoy these but I'd like to see him leverage the access a bit more. I like the pit walks and stuff PB puts out so kind of along those lines I guess
@conv3rt: I hear ya but I think there's room for both. For me, it's just nice to see that these guys are still having a laugh and some beers at the highest level of the sport.
haha dude nicked my phone off me in the town on the night whilst chatting on to a girl I know back in Leeds, she had no idea who she was talking to haha
Well is that the typical Scootish cops that you would turn to if you were in trouble and the kept the event safe so that idiots like you can make fun of them.
FAX.
He can party!
