The rider is Crisp and that's the main feature? The photogragher could just crop that blurry tree out too?

flag dirtbagluvin (Oct 18, 2009 at 9:09)
FregoS- it's called depth of field. It's hard to have different spaced objects in exactly the same focus. Grab a camera and try to get action shots, then you'll understand!!

Dirtbagluvin, I know its impossible, thats why he shoulda cropped it out. I own a canon 500d, so I have grabbed a camera once or twice in my life...
  • + 0
flag dirtbagluvin (Oct 23, 2009 at 11:26)
Why take out a tree when it doesn't detract from the focal point though?!! 500d or not!! Whoever takes the pic decides how to finish it and that is artistic expression at its finest!!
  • - 1
flag Rideslots (Oct 25, 2009 at 9:10)
 Ohhhh... SNAP!
  • + 0
flag FregoS (Oct 26, 2009 at 7:32)
Okay... I meantioned my camera cause you said that I should grab a camera and try it myself.
I know it doesn't detract from the focal point, but it is so noticeable that it almost becomes a focal point itself. Of course the artist can do it the way he wants, but for f*cks sake it was my opionion. Respect it, deal with it.

flag FregoS (Oct 27, 2009 at 9:17)
Dude, I dont wanna fight, I don't understand, why you want to fight about my opinion. The pictures in my profile are 2 years old, If you'd just check the date and taken by my friends camera. I just got the 500d about a week or 2 ago. And yes, I have used a camera before that.

I don't want to fight about this, you obviously want to be right here, so ok. The picture is the best! I have no real opinion of it. It's the best picture in the internet and you can't make it better! Couldn't have made a better pic! (It really is a good pic.)

  • + 1
flag nickf (Oct 18, 2009 at 19:59)
ofcourse it's popular, it's white! haha. i think it's very versatile for the range it offers as well, but i'd rather have a wider lense for most shots i want. i'd personally rather have a 24-70mm before that, a range often needed for biking. i'm not saying it's not on my wish list, just not first in line for what I need for most shots
