In 2013, Pinkbike and Trailforks created the Share the Ride Foundation in order to raise funds to buy disadvantaged children around the world brand new bicycles. In 2014 we aimed to raise $30,000 in contributions, but with your kind help we raised $46,878!

We visited thirteen locations and gave deserving children all over the world new bicycles, helmets and locks. Those kids can now ride to school, bomb around on their street and of course, learn how to wheelie.

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 and continue to change the lives of children and youth around the globe by introducing them to the joy of riding a bicycle.

-We will ship worldwide ... Customs fees and other applicable taxes will be the winner's responsibilities.

Where will your money go?
- $150 is enough to buy one child a new bike and a Kali helmet.
- We are working with community centers, schools, youth and family service programs and other established charities and foundations to identify children from low income families who will benefit from this gift.

Why does the Intrigue SX Have better specs than the Trance SX even though its cheaper???
  • 1 1
Msrps on the rockshox stuff is a fair bit less
  • 1 0
Overall it should be more expensive though!
Jesus I wish my Trance SX Had those specs without me having to buy aftermarket Frown
  • 1 0
Rockshox vs Fox Sram X1 vs Sram X01 Simple as that. Although if it were me, I'd still take the spec on the Intrigue.

What a great cause! If you think that mountain biking is amazing and want to share it not only with others, but kids who may not otherwise experience the gift of cycling, then here is your chance!

Damn it, I was just going to bed. Now I got tears in my eyes, waiting for my paycheck to come in so I can get a kid a bike, a helmet or just help out. I might need a helmet because too as I broke mine in a crash, but seeing those kids, man, I can't....

I can't afford much, but hopefully my $25 will help get a child shredding on a bike!

I've spent a bit of time on a Trance SX and it is an amazing bike. I thought it would slaughter the descents but die on the climbs and I was right on the former but very wrong on the latter - I could not believe how well it climbed up proper XC trails. The man or woman who wins will be very happy indeed.

 $4,599 for a bike with no Ka$hima??
  • 2 0
Most brands only sell Kashima coated Forks/shocks on their top tier bikes now. This includes Giant, Specialized, Trek, Scott, and Cannondale.

So yeah, expect to see Kashima on bikes around $7k or more.

Kinda weird since Fox non Kashima and Kashima coated prices are not much difference in price difference.

I think they do it on purpose so people know if what they have is in fact and oem or after market fork.
