 @i-eat-dirt, most of this vid, he isn't riding in slippers, but he really does send it in slipppers sometimes. He's done the Crabapple hits, and ridden Sea Otter DH in them.

 look at the shot where he is laughing and the camera guy asks him if its "the gnarliest thing youve ever done in slippers?" look at his pedals, they're spd. most of the video hes probably wearing real shoes and only busts the slippers out as a joke.

 in all seriousness the other day i was in a bike shop in moab and i saw a pair of slippers next to the teva links on the wall with the same spider rubber and pattern as the sole of the links, and the slippers were beefed up a bit. so there is something out there.

 So... I kinda forgot that I was watching a Pivot video because the new Phoenix looks identical to a Knolly bike. And it is the same color. About halfway through I remembered that Eliot Just moved to Pivot and I felt kinda dumb. But seriously those bikes look almost identical to me.

 Sounds like Queestown is the only place to shred on NZ! And what about Rotorua? Or other places?

 Trails and jumps wherever you go in NZ but Rotorua and Qtown have very comprehensive trail systems that give you the most quality riding for your effort.

 Qtown is photogenic and well worth a visit, but the riding there is only a tiny fraction of what's on offer. There's plenty of epic singletrack to be found in other parts of the country.
