THE ANSWER TO ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS:
(is 42)
is HERE: www.igorobu.com/de/home/index2.htm
The Guy is called Igor Obu, he is from Germany. He flew more than 42 Meters (138 Feet)! This Record was set in 1999 at the Olympic ski-jumpers 80m jump.
Actually, he trained 3 Months on the smaller jump and did 36 training jumps on this huge jump, not falling off his bike a single time (at least, that's what the homepage tells us).
The speed at take-off was 85km/h (53mph), top-speed after landing was 112km/h (70mph)!
Simply amazing.
Maximum respect to Igor Obu!

this guy prooves you dont need a million dollar bike to get 100 feet of air and go 120 and still not crash*

In the video it IS the 90's!
He's not some homeless guy who did it on an old bike cos he couldn't afford a better one ROTFL.

but if someone were to do it today they would have a 10 k head with an iternal gearbox and 2 atv air cans and tripple tree forks but this guy did it with a run of the mill 90's bike

holy sh$t, 100metres is 300 feet to all of you who still havn't converted over to the metric system!(no need to mention any names
- - 1
thats nowhere near 300 feet!! the mororbike world record is only 322 feet (98 metres) and he had to take off at 90 mph. this jump is at most half that distance. anybody with the exact details of this jump pleese correct me.

Ok I'm not sure if it's 100m or not, I'm just judging by the fact that you can see the 100m marker go by as he is on his way to landing!! I googled it and if it is in fact 100m it's 328.083 feet. I'm not sure how you get 322 out of 98 dude. But whatever, it's flippin' bigger than either of us can do...

i rounded horrificaly! lolz but still its nowhere near judging on how people have jumped motocross bikes off ski jumps and never got close to the world record for a motor bike. and i know for a fact that the mountainbike world record is held colin winkleman at 116 feet. and you can tell that this is a pretty old clip so it wont have been done more recently.

correction from the previous, colin winkleman did his jump on a bmx but the same record counts for mtb aswell.
