The new gear was first shown at the Val Di Sole World Cup this past weekend by Commencal IC Studio, and Trek Factory Racing. Each team showcased the race-readiness of the gear and gave race fans a glimpse of what was to come. With the release of this new collection, supporters are able to get the same gear that the top downhill racers in the world wear.

R-Core X is the highest performing line of 100% riding apparel offering the perfect canvas to apply two new limited edition color ways to. 4-way stretch materials, along with additional weight saving materials and treatments, result in 100%’s lightest weight, highest performing line of riding apparel.

The first featured Limited Edition kit is Pale Blue, featuring a muted pastel blue hue strengthened by black contrasting overlays creating a dynamic visual impact. The result is an understated kit that’s easy to wear in any situation.

Lava Red/Black is the second combo in the new LE range. This new kit features a transition of red into black, simulating the flow of lava, while silver foil logo treatments complete the look. Worn by TREK Factory Racing at the latest World Cup DH, this vibrant combo stands out among the rest.

In order to present the new LE collection, 100% teamed up with top athletes Kade Edwards and Hugo Frixtalon to present the new Limited Edition collection. Two of the most stylish riders in the sport, Kade and Frix showed off their style, and the new kits, at an undisclosed track in France. The new gear is available now, but quantities are limited, so get yours before they’re gone!

R-Core X Limited Edition Downhill collection allowing riders to redefine their boundaries.

Can we start a forum, or wall of shame of sorts for this kind of nonsense?
It’s a pair of mtb pajamas, in an interesting, and kinda bland colourways, nothing more.

The print is actually pretty succinct.

I don't know about "redefining boundaries," but the kits look pretty good IMO.

@Vudu74: That’s an actually pretty concise comment
  • 6 0
@emptybe-er: Your comment is also a hundred percent condensed.

In a way, I kinda define my boundaries by the way I dress. I can imagine wearing these new pajamas allow people come much closer than if I'd wear nothing at all.

You forgot to mention these bland "nothing more" mtb pajamas are 100% likely to be overpriced

Honestly, for nearly $100 it should at least have my favorite WCDH rider's name on the back. I still wouldn't ride in anything but my finest thrift goods, but I would totally rock a replica jersey to watch trackside or merely as wall art once it was signed.

100%, TLD, Fox, etc. should each drop a genuine limited edition jersey whenever a rider of theirs wins a WC. Jackson Goldstone's kit from last weekend would've sold out many times over by now by combination of an iconic win with a stunning kit (those pants were fire). Building fandom would be great for the kit companies and the riders.

White clothes for playing in the dirt is for the privileged.

The only information here is it has 4 way dtretch like 100% all other bike clothing nowadays. What a boring way to inflate words haha
The kits look sick, but that was a bad touch in my unqualified keyboard-man opinion

I had been hoping to redefine my boundaries, but I cannot afford an $84 jersey. I suppose my boundaries will be staying firmly in place until I can redefine my income.
  • 5 0
 How about a $42 one?

@Roost66: I’d look cool until people saw my decidedly intermediate riding, then they’d start calling me “Slowris Vergier” and “Fade Edwards”.

Also, that’s the price of a lift ticket at the local bike park. I know which one I’d rather have.

Thanks for sharing the code for those who are interested though.

@sfarnum: Very true, any old shirt will do.

Most sendy guys at the bike park are just wearing day-to-day cloths.

@Roost66: Listen to the plug and see his post below.

If they have any cheaper products you might be able to redefine one of your boundaries now and then look to redefine other boundaries later.
  • 2 0
Look, if you read the article closely it is not your ability which will limit your boundaries. Anyone can shift their riding boundaries with proper practice, time and some coaching. That's not the issue. It is just that, without the proper jersey you're not allowed to redefine them. You could do so illegally but just make sure to put the training wheels back on when someone rocks up with the appropriate jersey.
  • 4 0
@sfarnum: Frankly I think you should change your username to "Slowris Viergier" just so no one else takes it.
  • 3 0
@Roost66: It is indeed twice the answer to the Universe. Some deep shit going on there. They should rebrand to 200% to reflect this ingenuity.
  • 1 0
 .... oops
  • 1 1
@Roost66: My reply to you 11 hours ago was meant for someone else - just clearing that up.
  • 1 0
 @suspended-flesh: Okay, all good.
Still want a pair of their goggles tho.
  • 1 0
You must give at least 110% to exceed your boundaries
  • 2 0
@Roost66: Yep - I grabbed a pair of their most expensive Armegas with the Hiper lens because I would never do that at full price.
  • 3 0
@sfarnum: my name is daniel and when I mess up I dub myself Danny Lackaskill lol

Their Spring collection is here just in time for Summer.

I like and use their helmets, gloves, and goggles. Nothing more to add. I ride 49%
  • 2 0
I have the ridecamp gloves, which are great for longer or slimmer hands - I normally find XL gloves baggy, but my fingers and thumbs are too long for anything smaller. Only problem is they're coming apart at the seams far too soon. I've also just got a Celium jersey, which feels like wearing nothing and despite being black is the coolest jersey I've ever owned. Not had long enough to comment I'm durability though
  • 2 0
 Honestly ,I'm a 100% confident i've ever seen 0% of 100% ..ever, on anyone.
  • 2 0
@likeittacky: It's more of a Ricky Racer brand than a Loamercore brand. I do see a lot of their Brisker gloves on the trails in winter, though. It's kind of a SoCal brodozer brand, too.

Defeat, my Defeat, my self-knowledge and my defiance, Through you I know that I am yet young and swift of foot And not to be trapped by withering laurels. And in you I have found aloneness And the joy of giving no fucks.

@Processtuna: I didn't find the code, some guy on MTBR did.
  • 2 0
 @Roost66: Thanks - you a real one, G.
  • 1 1
What's hilarious is that there is a code (I see it was posted below) for 50% off. I took a good hard look at some helmets and stuff, and most of it was still not even a great deal.
  • 1 0
 @Roost66: doesnt work anymore Frown
  • 2 0
 @Hectorres2001: I know, sucks… Frown
  • 4 0
@Roost66: I used this code yesterday on some sunglasses. Thanks!
  • 2 0
They make a solid goggle but those airmatic jerseys….trash. Bought one a few years back and after only a handful of washes the thing pilled quite badly. Maybe they have fixed this by now, though.
  • 2 1
 Which goggles?
  • 2 0
@Roost66: Racecraft and Armega are solid. Accuri are decent as well.
  • 2 0
@Roost66: Thanks to you I just copped a pair of

ARMEGA® Goggle
Moto/MTB
Falcon 5/HIPER® Red Mirror Lens

do not throw them in the dryer. Always air dry!

some right marketing b/s right here.
  • 4 0
I mean the light blue kit isn't horrible...
  • 3 0
Are their products of decent quality, or is it just 100% marketing? Serious question tho
  • 1 0
No clue about pants/jerseys/shorts but I loved my pair of gloves from them. They were super durable and last like 2 years even after some falls and scuffs.
  • 2 0
IMO for the price, their helmets and goggles are the best in the business right now.
  • 2 0
Thank goodness! I was just thinking than my boundaries were a little dated!

100% guaranteed to make your whips sicker and your tables flatter
