Having ridden this track a couple of times and thinking I was flying down the hill. It just puts it into perspective how fast she is.. And how slow.. I actually am Haha
Great edit. I can remember Manon when she was tiny shredding about on her bmx when I was helping her father at the Dragon Downhill races. A very talented girl and proud that a girl from the Valleys is on the world stage.
She's probably riding so fast because someones told her that there are a load of pinkbike users running after her and she's scared of been hit over the head and dragged into a cave. Calm it down boys. Its all sounding a bit rapey
It's Welsh, if you think Cwmcarn is bad you should do some research, some wild place names to be found. It's a language that is recognised in Wales and.... Argentina, I think it is, of all places. Remember seeing a tv programme about it a while ago.
I think Cwmcarn is pronounced Kum-carn but that's just from talking with friends about the place.
The correct Llanelli pronunciation sounds like an asthmatic cat hacking up a fur ball of barbed wire and pepper.
Then of course there is the neighbouring village: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Ask a local to say that place and you'll be there for a week and covered in so much phlegm you'll think he's trying to waterboard you.
DH trail does not look new to me, most of it looks like what was called the pink trail which was unofficial from the top start area and flowed into the existing DH track..
It's bits of the old downhill trail that have been revamped, plus the new DH and XC sections. Confusingly, the bit shes riding on the trail bike is a section of the new DH (used to be called pedalhounds or something AFAIK)
Girl you are so fooking good on tha bike and you make it even better by being a taff!!... good luck this year and rachel better watch out! gook luck carpy!!
Me: "Pat, I'd like to buy a vowel."
Pat: "Sorry, there aren't any left"
Me: "wtf…"
As for the pronunciation, it's "Coomcarn".
Calm it down boys. Its all sounding a bit rapey
"y" is pronounced like "i", correct?
Patagonia is part of Chile and Argentina, like a specific region
sorry to be a pedantic tw@t, not trying to break your balls or anything

And yes it's real !
Manon is riding so well as usual .... She's superb
