 Great article !
Too bad you did not show Laura Charles's bike, who actually won the women category, with an "old" Stumpjumper !
And she has no team support, so that she won't be at the EWS in Austria/Slovenia...

Honest question - who is Laura Charles? Previous gen stumpy with Fox Performance spec... I can't find much online about her that isn't in French. If she was good enough to win why isn't she sponsored? I seem to remember some male racer hanging with the top dogs in one of this year's EWS but can't remember the details.

I can't figure out where that Cube ends and his shorts begin. And I like the Norco's, can't figure out why though exactly.

 Coils on a Pivot again...
  • 4 0
I thought that was highly illegal?
  • 3 0
If it's not a Push 11-6 I believe it is. Wondering how he's getting enough ramp up on that CCDB coil to make it work. Maybe a progressive spring?
  • 2 0
@OriginalDonk: Might just be riding a heavier spring. It's a simple way to overcome bottom out with more linear bikes
  • 5 0
Wow, so many coil shocks. That really surprises me.
  • 1 0
 Long downhills=coil
  • 3 0
I have thought about other places to mount my GPS - like Julie Duvert on that Ibis. But isn't she one wreck + turned bars from a complete GPS detonation? #skerred

Cool to see Formula, EXT (?), and Cane Creek suspension in the mix with all the Fox and Rockshox, and right up there in terms of results.

When is POC gonna fire the dude that designed their full face helmet???
  • 3 0
Bravo, c cool d'être sur Pink Bike !!!
  • 4 1
Ravanel could do with a shave.
  • 1 0
On Julie Duvert's Ibis, the rear shock and water bottle are so close! Does that even work very well or just for show? Id like to that bike in person !
  • 2 0
So what are all these stickers on the bikes that look like warning labels?? Are they timing devices/chips?
  • 4 0
You have to have certain parts marked by an official, you must finish the race with with the marked parts on your bike.

Escriou's foot looks a bit dislocated there. But at least he seems to be comfortable.
  • 2 0
TLD/100% lids make people look right. The rest...
  • 6 4
God help us all if the Orbea and Cube decide to procreate...
  • 2 0
As long as its doesnt come out looking like a bh...poor lil bike as a hunchback
  • 1 1
Is that a small frame bag below the bottle on the Orbea? That bike is beautiful.
  • 5 0
 Its to hide the motor...
  • 1 0
Ya the bike comes with that. Its does limit the bottle size tho. Prett cool tho
  • 1 1
How can Cedric Ravanel be 1st in masters and 9th overall with such a heavy bike?
  • 1 0
Look how close that bottle is to the piggyback on the Rallon!!
  • 3 6
not a single mattoc ? -i ve been riding it for 2 weeks now and it is head and scoulders above my previous pike . (better airchamber(IRT); better rebound, better (hydraulic ) bottom out -basically better everything
  • 1 0
