Prize Details:
Industry Nine Enduro 305 Wheelset
The Enduro 305 is our flagship i9 alloy wheelset. At the center, find our premium Hydra hub, affording the rider 690 points of engagement. Experience near instantaneous power transfer designed to claw your way up the punchiest singletrack, manual at a split second notice, or accelerate out of any corner.
Our reinvented v3 EN305 rim features a wider bead wall shelf designed to help prevent pinch flats and a shallower rim profile to minimize trail chatter for a smoother, more compliant ride. Our proprietary 6000 series alloy rim technology is built with 32 spokes for maximum impact resistance. The 30.5mm inner rim width is designed for tires ranging from 2.3” – 2.6”.
Our straight pull, CNC machined aluminum spokes thread directly into the hub, creating a flex-free junction between hub and spoke. Enjoy complete hub and spoke color customization with 11 anodized color options designed to stand out on the trail.
If your dream wheelset can keep the pace for all day sufferfests while eager to push the limits for that bucket list trip to Whistler - the latest generation EN305 is the option for you.

@notai: Higher poe makes your head larger and lowers the bulk in your wallet which shifts your weight further back for a manual. With 609 poe, your head is so large it's hard NOT to manual everything.
@notai: I used to have the same DT wheelset on an old bike I then bought a bike that has hydras hubs, they don't help with manuals. The only thing I find the high engagement helps is for things like technical climbing and trials moves where you are ratcheting the pedals.
Other than the cool sound there is I don't really notice them (which I suppose is a good thing).
Also, you can take them apart without any tools which is really cool.
With straight-pull spokes you normally need to carry your own spares as most bike shops don’t have them. With these rainbow wheels you need to take ten times the number so the colour matches
@Lokirides: saw a broken one on the bloke in front of me about to drop in on an Enduro stage at a race this season. Another problem with these alloy spokes is I don't think you can wrap one around a spoke next to it to make it down, and you can't remove it without taking off the tire and rim tape. I'd still take a set for free though.
@mtb-thetown: I've wrapped the spokes - it's definitely possible, and also, you can break the spoke off and the existing spokes are more than strong enough to support the wheel, even for an enduro stage. Bomber wheels and I would love to win another set myself!
If you actually need a modern 26 wheel, DT Swiss is still selling them. And they are beefed up for DH not DJ. Just found out about that like 2 weeks ago.
@BikesNRussets: Yeah, there still are options. My most recent build was with a Spank Spike rim though some might call that a DJ brand. Not sure. I think the weight was fair, inner width was 28mm which is fine with me too. Stans also still offers their modern rims in 26", including the latest Stan Flow model.
