So $270 for a light is tough, no matter how bright it is. At the same time, those $20 Cree lights on amazon that claim 1200 lumens are more like 800 lumens.

Why doesn't anybody make a real, legit, 1200 lumen light for like $40? I'd be all over that. The Cree chips really are 1200 lumens, they are just underpowered.
