The dust has just about settled on Sam Hill's dream finish to this year's Enduro World Series, so what better time to share the highlights of his journey to championship victory!
A legend's journey is befitting of a man who many counted out as a competitive racer. It features riding that beggars belief in parts, with Sam throwing his bike, body and flat pedals around the course like we wish we could understand - let alone try ourselves.
Enjoy.
"Some of the ruts are as deep as your axles," said Sam. Rotorua set the scene for most of this year's EWS - wet and muddy!
Heavy downpours and deteriorated tracks couldn't stop Sam finishing third in Tazmania.
Team Manager Nigel Page has been through it all with Sam this year - even finding time to finish second overall in the Master's category.
The Irish fans were out in force to meet their Team CRC Mavic hero.
A massive result for Sam and the team, finishing first in Aspen on his new carbon Nukeproof Mega.
Jacy Shumilak: one of the most meticulous mechanics on the circuit and Sam's longtime friend, keeping the Nukeproof Mega race bike in perfect shape.
Finale was a dream end to a fantastic season.

Also, 3:17, she got a big ol butt.
So stoked
jokes apart, you could spot the shape of two water bottles in the lower back in most of the racing. And in round 5 (Millau/France) he is wearing a backpack, back protection was mandatory in that stop tho
congrats Sam Hill!
Badonk ADONK, yeah baby!!
