You used to get chased away for filming or even using Strava there, now everybody knows about them. I’ve run into people from all over Europe here on holiday riding up there.

Any "top secret" spot is pretty discoverable these days provided people have their cell phones on them when riding there, they don't even need to be using Strava!

Ah the curse of social media. I'm part of trail crew in the North East and we have some rules about SM posts and who can be invited to the trails. We certainly don't allow SM influencers and if people want to post to SM they have to use a different location. This has kept our trails safe for over 10 years.

@mariomtblt: the north of Scotland? Quite a lot surprisingly, don’t forget the whole of Scotland is the size of a us state so it’s not exactly hard to a day trip to any trail in the country

@ridedigrepeat: the video doesn’t do it justice how steep the trails are so yes not many people do ride half of the trails in that secret location

This one, and in particular the last one with Peat are the first videos I've seen where I thought "ah, I guess I can see how an eBike could be fun." The last video looked like a great way to spend a full day.
