Ya, I know that place. That one had to hurt.

Scorpion to concrete, a maxillosurgeon’s empty canvas sheet.

I feel like Loam Ranger's "Stand Up to the Jump" video could be a sticky comment on every Friday Fails, as it's the solution to about 2/3 of these otb-off-a-jump scenarios.

But then we'd have 2/3 less entertainment on Fridays...

I retract my statement

Don't ruin it... At least there's no survey

I lost count of the attempted backflips There were 2 successful frontflips...
  • 4 0
@Bosschap1836r: maybe we should call otb's "attempted frontflips"
  • 1 3
Just watched the "Stand Up to the JUMP". Horrible advice. You dont Stand Up perpendicular to the ground, but to the JUMP/Bike. Thats the reason for the front rotation. Cant believe over a Million people watched the Video.

I didn't even notice, sad days in the bike industry. Can't even complain about junk I don't need and won't win for the next few weeks.
  • 3 0
@pink505: did you notice Fantasy League didn't happen either? That one sucks for me, as I really enjoyed it and felt much more engaged with DH, and Enduro. I also don't need any of the advent giveaways, but it was a fun thing to check each day.

@ReformedRoadie: I’ve been writing lyrics all year Facepalm

We don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing we need
We don't care about these prizes, always here just filling our feed.
We just want to ride our bike
Instead of constantly worrying where’s Mike.
We don’t care if our bikes heavy!!
All we want for Christmas ……..
is the return of Mike Levy!!! Oooh baby

A lot of hard chargers this week. Makes you appreciate how much effort goes into getting good enough to put out the polished video edits we see every day. You never see the dozens, if not hundreds of fails, misses, and crashes that the pros go through before landing big tricks and clearing big features.

Cheers, I got back on and finished a bloody second place that day. Crash costed me the podium spot for sure.

Probably should have gotten a few stitches in my arm but opted for butterfly strips & tons of beer

Backflips seem like a circus act to me, you either make it or risk breaking your neck and being paralyzed for life...

Not sure where the location is, or, more importantly, what the surface is, in #5, but that looked like a face scrapper to me....
  • 1 0
A lot of people trying to compensate (pulling up / dead sailor'ing) by not getting enough speed and letting physics do the real work.
  • 1 0
Number 21, serious send, looked completely under control at the start and when his bike refused to slow down he ejected! Poor bike
  • 1 0
Holy crap, my eyeballs are vicariously bruised from several of these crashes ... I hope the concussions healed up and folks are all Ok.
