Photo # 20 of the fellow carrying his bike... That method of carry is called "suitcasing", And I've been known to "suitcase" my bike down features with too much spice.

Anyone know if the piece being used to true the wheel on the bike is something sold and if so where or if that is a homemade piece? I'd really like to have something like that for trips or even quick true jobs at home.
  • 10 0
I've always just used a zip tie. You don't even need to take it off, just spin it out of the way (I used to have a cheap and nasty rear wheel on my commuter that needed regular attention).

Looks like a M5x100 bolt and seems to be a GoPro mount? light mount? with the o-ring

Cannot believe Neko trusts those cranks

So the riders race on national teams but are still supported by their trade teams? Obviously there were national federations mentioned but it looks mostly like business as usual.
  • 7 0
Yes, the trade teams generally cover the travel, mechanics, accommodation etc for their riders. It's basically a normal World Cup with 2 changes, being 1. the selection for who goes and 2. the kit they wear on race day. Im not saying it makes sense. Thats just what it is.

interesting looking shock on that trek, New Vivid perhaps
  • 4 0
The Norco squad have been running it on their new proto as well
  • 2 0
Definitely looks like it should be a vivid. Saw a bunch of them around crankworx last week
  • 1 0
Is it just me or does the eye to eye length of the shock look enormous?
  • 1 0
 @blang11: It does look enormous, 250mm/9.85'' I think that's a Trek/DH bike thing though

"A nice bit of cable routing on the new V10"

Yeah, so nice that it runs inside the chainstay for a glorious 6 inches or so. You can't even take a picture without both ends in frame! Lotta work (2 holes and 1-2 brackets) for a silly, useless, bullet point on a spec sheet ("full internal routing!")
  • 2 0
So when is specialized going to reveal what is going on with the linkage and shock. Jordan already proved it's not necessary.
  • 3 0
I’d give my left nut for one of those alu Syndicare blead buckets!

 Pinner Machine Shop
  • 8 0
Nope. I would give just $75CDN though.
  • 2 1
Pretty sure those ti bolts are just reflecting, not color matched. Look at the bottom-most visible one, it's not pink at all.

An interesting linkage on the new Mondraker - I still think the BB are is the interesting thing here
  • 2 0
It's just Mondraker linkage, nothing new. The BB is bolted to the mainframe using those 5 or how many bolts.

The beautiful simplicity of Neko Mulally's bike is gorgeous.
  • 2 0
Downtube on Norco seems very odd, why?
  • 1 0
Low seat height on Neko's bike!
  • 1 1
And also a shame they went for low standover for the top tube which meant it needed that little seat tube bracing. Much cleaner look if it joined higher up. Oh well.
  • 1 0
Which chainstay protector is Mullaly using on his Frameworks?
  • 3 0
Its a stfu prototype, vital had some closeup picture of it.
  • 1 0
@spicysparkes: stfu lol poor bike, getting muzzled

This mechanic is LOVING the huge pivot bearings on that Saracen!
