First Look: Actofive's CNC-Machined Signature Cranks Are a Work Of German Art
@melanthius: thanks for the video link. @hardtailparty: GREAT video! I appreciate the easy to understand and relatable narration. I put 165’s on my latest build, but that was coming off 170’s. I would have gone shorter had I known they were available. Looks like I’ll have to try some 155’s.

Henry’s Waffle House: Mountain Biking is Getting Too Easy
@henryquinney: I thought it might be one of those British words or idioms I didn’t understand. Seriously though, I really enjoyed the article; it was a lot of fun to read and brought me many smiles and chuckles. Keep it up.

@StewartHowe: “ And the pedo-tard POTUS they "elected" is dumping gas on the dumpster fire they've created for their banker masters.” = Straight up QAnon bullshit right there! QAnon, the sheep who think they’re enlightened wolves!

The problem is that the genie is already out of the bottle, meaning there are millions of firearms in circulation in the U.S. already. California has had many gun laws on the books for years and continues to add restrictions as new issues arise (such as ghost guns), but many guns are easily stolen due to not being securely stored (my neighbor, a deputy sheriff, had two AR-15s and two handguns stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway), and many more can be brought in from neighboring states that have minimal restrictions. California also adds sentencing enhancements for use of a firearm during a crime. As well, not only is it a crime for a convicted felon to possess a firearm, it is a crime for them to possess ammunition. So, what would you suggest that would make a difference, especially considering the number of guns already in the hands of criminals? Disclosure: I do own firearms for hunting, target practice, and self-defense. I hold a concealed carry permit that required a proficiency demonstration. However, I support stricter controls that would help keep firearms out of the hands of criminals, people convicted of domestic violence offenses (even between arrest and conviction or acquittal), and those suffering mental health episodes.

Posers wouldn’t last long in Oakland. It is quite probable that they have already shot, or at least shot at, people in other circumstances and would not hesitate to shoot you without remorse.

California has been that way for a long time. I was born in the late ‘60s and it was that way as far back as I can remember.
