 Bjammin - because smacking your knees directly into your frame upon impact with the water = frame wins.

 since armor is so important i only wear knee pads that dont even cover my shin.......

 knee pads are way more necessary than shin guards though, i mean pedal bite sucks but its not worth wearing big bulky sweaty shin guards all the time, knee pads are definitely the better option in my opinion.

 hey lester22291 i have three round scars in my leg from when i slipped a pedal and received three bone deep holes in my shin agreed with the people above i pushed my knee cap out of place and couldnt ride or walk for a couple of days then my slow recovery started
