That makes Fairclough's Rampage at Home look entirely responsible.

From its wikipedia's page "Ot Pi is a Spanish bike-trials rider, often regarded as the man responsible for the discipline's origin" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ot_Pi

If you like retro stuff, he is featured in a 1988 MTB film: www.sandiegovideoproduction.com/ultimate-mountain-biking-video (love the "Patty and Mark marry in the mountains on their mountain bikes")

As a former comp trials rider, one of the most important things you learn over time is to jump to safety away from the bike when things go wrongs. Even for the best they go wrong often.

I remember the corny vids back in the day.....ha, hoo ha...

what the heck, that was the jenkiest most skilled thing ive seen in years

Dude, exactly what I though, mad janky. Most plebs have no idea what kind of skill that takes!!!!

One of my favorite things about mountain biking in quarantine is the change of "How can I nearly get injured on the trail?" to "How can I nearly get injured at home?". It's inspired some truly insane content that might not have been created otherwise.

With that lid he should have been doing whips. Whip it good.

 What did I just watch?

How rad was that, I remember Ot Pi in the early '90's and must admit i'd almost forgotten about him, seems he is still more than capable on a bike. Trials riders rule.

Was the Grim Donut part of the course ?

So that's what happened to Ot Pi, he became a member of Devo, fell into a kinetic machine and watched too much of Martin Ashton's road bike party.

SWEET!! I had a Monte Pro Trials back in the 90's after watching Ot throw down. Next bike after my Ibis. Is the all white a hospital covid thing? More rad edits from Ot. Thanks

I went to look at the YouTube comments. First few comments were from Ryan Leech, Hans Rey, Kris Holm and Martyn Ashton! Incredible stuff!

Back in the late 80’s, I saw Ot Pi do a trials demo at Interbike Long Beach, CA. I was left, temporarily, a speechless mouth-breather.

Anyone know exactly what kind of bike that is or have a link to info? Short stays, looks pretty trialsy. And HS-33's in the rear? Sick riding Ot!

I can't even explain how happy these videos make me. They're SO creative and Ot still kills it. Reminds me of a Rodney Mullen meets Devo video.

Amazing that he can do something so amazing in 2020 on a bike with that frame style, size and geometry...

Very Impressive. Way outside the box. But I wanna see the outtakes, if there are any. I don't know how you would bail out from 10ft up without getting hurt unless he hung onto the track.
  • 8 0
out takes are at the end of the vid.

@keewi: Haha. I stopped the video at "Where is the limit?"

Can't upvote this enough... Sure 99% of the time he will be ok but what if he hits the 1% and fractures an ankle or a wrist and needs to go to the ER. Not cool. He can't claim to be young and stupid. Down vote away but we need to chill out for a few more weeks.

@pink505: too right Sarah Moore seems responsible for propogating all the irresponsible stuff. Try reading NSMB. Their banner:

Please do your part to help with the COVID-19 pandemic. Riding irresponsibly puts you and others at risk. Injuries put unnecessary stress on the medical system, and right now they need to focus all resources on fighting the virus. Practice social distancing, avoid group rides and anything else that increases your chances of exposure. Follow advice and directives from your local health authority, and don't take unnecessary risks.

Lockdown is to not only reduce rate of contractions but also to keep dumbasses from clogging up the hospitals at this time. Not to take more risks at home.
Lots of people truly are retarded and selfish.
And yes I work frontline so please take something in before all the kids downvote.

@Shredtheduck: Hey man, just because we're stuck at home being lectured by PB doesn't mean PB can't make money off people acting irresponsibly.

In germany hospitals are putting employees on to short time work because they canceled all operations and covid did not much here. I am thinking of hucking off my roof to support the local hospital.
