I'm sorry Brody, but it just didn't hit it with me. The music was nothing but boring, porno music. The editing was not exactly creative at all and the slo-motion did nothing but make the riders look slow.
I think with fresher, faster, more up beat music this video would be much better. Also stripping the length of the webisodes down would also help so we see nothing but prime shots.
Not bad for a first webisode. They can only get better.

hey ive bin there! its not about the speed of riding, its about how awsome and wonderful that place is, ive youve ever bin there, before you even got on your bike you would sit and stare in awe for a good few minutes at just the scenery

wow, interesting blend of comments. You guys seem to be forgetting this was his first Video like this, so the intro is to introduce what he is gonna be doing and who he is. He won't be having long intros like that for all his videos. I am sure he will take all the constructive comments and use the info to work on his video techniques, but to all the people flaming, go ride your bike. If you can't be constructive, then don't comment. Brody isn't even showing half his skills in this video. I have ridden with him for many years and he is an exceptional rider. Probably better than most of the commenters here.

Thanks everyone. This is just the inaugural Webisode and the Woodlot had a lot of snow on it when we filmed this (as you can see in some clips). The riding is limited to two tires on the ground most of the time. We'll be at the Woodlot again to film the gappers and jumps once the weather warms up more. Stay tuned for Webisode 2!

I love seeing the woodlot featured in VOD's but you seemed to do a little to much in some spots, like filming bloggy 2 seperate times. Otherwise not to bad for a first video

the only decent trail shown there was Giant Killer and they barly even showed anything on it. there are plenty of better trails there and they just made the woodlot look boring. good editing tho.

Good video as some have stated I didnt like the narative intro, or the whole slow mo that was kinda lame for the most part use some slow mo but it was way over used. Other then that movie was great and im really looking forward to seeing the next one.
Also damn that lucky man with the Banshee Legendary MK-1, How is that oh I wanted one so bad but the price tag is a little steep for me this year as I just got laid off and finished traveling to Vietnam.

sorry, but this video is great, but the riding is quite slow, so its not very entertaining, but the filming and editing (minus the extra slow mo) is great

I agree, the editing and filming was really good, although I'm personally getting a bit bored of the collective style of filming. Just needs some better riding and this would be super sick, as it is, its still sweet though. Good work!

Sorry to follow the trend but ya the ediiting and the filming was really smooth. It was a little slow to start and you were riding pretty slowly I thought at parts. But great work and keep at it!

this film just didn't do it for me, seemed to me you copied slow motion angles from the collective, but without the decent riding.

Yeah agree, why are you on a word cup wilson? Hardtail is what you need. Props to the music and editing but it can't make up for the boring riding

this would be hypnotizing if i was blazzed out of my mind but other than that i have to agree with all of the earlier comments about how slow it moves but you guys did a great job with editing and ot looked like a lot of fun!

it wouldnt be as slow seeming if he flared his elbows out a bit, elbows in just gives an impression of slower riding. in my oppinion.
- + 1
I completely agree with you on the elbows but I think that it's fair to say that it wasn't the fastest riding you've seen

from a cinematographer's perspective: it was pretty decent all-be-it very shakey and sucky lighting. From a riders perspective: It was pretty boring.
Try getting or building a handle thingy for the top of your camera to lessen the shake (try weighting it also). Also film in decent lighting for added contrast and flair to the greens etc. Less slo-mo, espesh for the slower riders.
But most of all: try and strike a balance between riding and nature shots to keep the flow going!
Peace.
