Joost Wichman takes Radon's brand new trail bike, the Slide 140, to the beautiful trails of British Colombia. This bike goes uphill like an E-Bike, but its lightness and modern suspension make it a blast on the descents too! Who needs uplifts any more, this bike takes you everywhere!
The new Slide 140 is completely made off carbon fibre. The frame, rear triangle and link are extremely light while providing excellent stiffness and high comfort. Its weight is a mere 1880 grams (
not including rear shocks).
This set-up makes for a highly efficient chassis with 140mm travel placed on 27.5”- wheels that holds enough reserves for challenging descents. The Slide 140 Carbon also includes technical features like the Radon Conehead, Shimano PressFit bottom bracket, internally routed cables, Low Direct Mount front derailleur and QR15/ X12 through axles front and back.
It will be available in four different versions starting at 3199 €*; all models can later be equipped with an adjustable seatpost and a Side-Swing front derailleur. The Slide 140 Carbon combines efficient climbing capabilities with excellent downhill performance translating into unchallenged All-Mountain fun!
More info and all the models can be found on the Radon
website.
