Rachel suffered from some bad injuries in her time and was in a tight generation at the top of women's riding.
But we never know when the next young gun will come around. Look at the men's. We had Gwin although he was not that young that upset the norm, now we have AP. Looks like he is back, could Reece be a challenger as a youngster, on the really technical stuff I think so, Les Gets next, maybe not his bag.

 @TrevZ: That makes it more probable for Höll to burn out early though. If you look at statistics, women generally have just a few years when they are at the top of their game. Of course not all women and Höll could be one of those. Time will tell.

 This sort of stuff is so shortsighted on the part of Red Bull/UCI. Who’s even watching the World Cup stream if sites like Pinkbike/Vital aren’t promoting it for them? It’s not like the UCI is any good at social media - even when it comes to road, which is their top priority.
