Just to clarify because it isn't specified, the prize pack consists of a Project 23 carbon helmet, Sam Hill knee pads, Sam Hill Lite elbow pads, and a T-shirt all in the winner's size as well as a pair of signed Sam Hill knee pads.

My understanding of it is that the winner will receive a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and a t-shirt, all in their size. The signature part just means Sam Hill helped design them and are what he uses. They are not signed by him.
  • 1 0
 Not just in specific sizes?
  • 2 0
@person-named-john: No it is signed, check the 7idp site, there are no signs in them
  • 94 0
@McArdle: No, the winner can give us their sizes so that they can actually use what they win. We are doing a pair of signed and a pair of Sam Hill knee from inventory so that you can use one pair and not use the signed ones if you want to keep them for good to show off.

@sevenidp: Sweet prize! Love my 7idp knee pads!!
  • 1 0
@sevenidp: I need these! Too many falls ????
  • 7 1
This is an very generous and awesome opportunity, and the prize pack which has excited me the most. I have my fingers crossed. Last time I rode a resort I chipped a tooth because I have no full face. And my wife wont allow my kneepads inside a living environment because of their smell...I have my fingers crossed!
  • 3 2
If I win, can we Sam sign the helmet instead of the kneepads? I don't see the signature looking like a signature very long on the pads given regular abuse & pseudo-regular washing... just a thought!
  • 15 1
 who's Sam Hill?
  • 9 0
@sevenidp: Wait... so, there's a pair of knee pads, a pair of signed Sam Hill knee pads and Sam Hills knee pads? Do I get to sign his knees if I win??
  • 2 0
@Pedal-Bin: there's no space left on his knees to signed
  • 1 0
@vhdh666: hopefully one of those guys not very smelly, they're giving away his pads.
  • 3 0
@Noeserd: Yeah, my bad, I didn't see that it was SevenIDP saying that, I thought it was some random pinkbike user trying to figure out if there was also a signed pair of kneepads. I misread the description and didn't see who posted the original comment.

  • 1 0
@sevenidp: Awesome prize pack, cheers for clearing that up. Fingers crossed I win then!!
  • 2 0
@borisimobike: I'm pretty sure Sam hills helmet sponsor is different so that might be why
  • 2 0
 This is AWESOME!!!
  • 1 0
Just wanna say I run 7idp knees and elbows and they are incredibly good. The sam hill series is the most comfortable knee pad Ive worn
  • 72 0
My shins are already signed with Sam Hill's signature Nukeproof Horizon pedals.
  • 5 0
 Seems fake, they don't slip.
  • 33 1
..this is by far one the best win it Wednesday thus far. Thats a lot of merchandise and an autographed knee pad as well! Damn 7idp stepping up the W.I.W. game

Holy cow, I'm so excited, I have never won anything like this in my entire life! I have been riding mostly trail, on an XC bike, for past 15-20 years, and just a couple months ago picked up a Ripmo AF. I have started to hit jump lines at my local park to learn proper "jump technique" and not the dead-sailor technique that I am used to, and having a blast. But I also started to think about picking up a full face helmet for days where I'm at a bike park or on more gravity inspired trails. Never in a million years would have been able to afford a carbon full face helmet. So, in the immediate future I will look like a total poser with this high-end gear, but hope to change that quickly Smile . 7Protection has already reached out to me and gathered sizes and shipped my prize package; should be here next week. I cannot thank Pinkbike and 7Protection enough, and I cannot wait to try these out!!

I love stuff that costs FREE.99!

Hell, I'll even be happy to win a rainbow themed penis shaped sticker.
I'll giggle wildly and proceed to put it on my friend's car - when he is not looking of course.

FREE.99 :-)

Can 2nd place prize be Sam Hill just signing me knees?
  • 6 0
Those Sam Hill 7idp are comfortable as hell, precisely looking for new knee pads and those are in the list.
  • 7 0
Where can we see the winners of past contests?
  • 9 0
 Yeah. Does anyone actually win?
  • 1 0
I love sevenIDP!!! I ordered some knee pads from them and saw they had a great deal on helmets, so bought one on a whim. Later that year I wrecked hard and the helmet protection in the back saved me big time (still broke my collarbone amongst other injuries) with protection that a slightly shorter helmet in the back would've have hurt me big time! And they have an informal but awesome crash replacement. I've recommended them to everyone who would listen!
  • 2 0
My seven knee pads are getting a bit beat up after several years of use, this would be a timely replacement. I'll scribble all the other items with sam's signature as well, nothing a silver sharpie can't handle!
  • 1 0
My @sevenidp Transition pads are my favouritest pads I've ever had I've had a lot of different ones), but they are due a change now. I am looking into new ones or the Sam Hill version. I won't have to if I win this though. Fingers crossed.

Can we talk about an MTB company releasing CE LEVEL 2 kneepads ??? And for less than many LEVEL 1 pads cost? To me, this is big news. Although I have a set of knees from a big brand that I like, they're the (low) common standard of Level 1. SO I've been looking around for Level 2 inserts to replace the stock ones with. Kinda lame that LEVEL 2 isn't more common, especially for knees. So stoked to see 7iDP step up and offer them stock!!!

You should probably let an Aussie win this one. Sam can sign them and ship it locally. Shipping is pretty expensive at the moment y'know. Wink
  • 1 0
An Aussie win? That would be the day! Ay?!
All I can say is...Chop! Chop! Ya burnin' daylight!
  • 1 0
Also, most CE Level 1 pads available now decrease protectiveness with temperature, falling into borderline territory when it's hot out. So my thinking is getting CE LEVEL 2 covers all bases-- hot temps or not.
  • 3 0
Good gear 7idp, I’ve had 2 of their helmets and always fit me well.
  • 1 0
 What's your head shape?
  • 5 0
 @ryan77777: like a pea
  • 1 0
@McArdle: yeah, none of their equipment comes close to fitting me. I cant get knee pads to wrap around my legs, and I couldn't get an xl helmet on my head. I tried 7 different l-xl helmets, all of them were slightly large on me or just right, except the 7idps.

Unfortunately I think they have some of the cooler looking helmets, I was gutted when I bought the same fox helmet everyone has.

@Paulo: The company name is Seven Protection 7protection.com

So, you're reading the company name, not seeing a quantity........

through the miracle of Google Translate:

O nome da empresa é Seven Protection

Então, você está lendo o nome da empresa, não vendo uma quantidade

Why would anyone want signed kneepads that they will wash and signature will come off. Maybe sign the helmet? Or just don't sign anything....
  • 1 0
Has anyone received news or information after entering? I haven't gotten any yet, not even from the advent calendar.
  • 1 0

  • 2 0
@McArdle: Cool, hope it does not wash out
  • 3 6
Can I get them without the writing? @pinkbikestaff
  • 2 0
@ridingrascal: Why would you not want his signature?
  • 4 0
@ridingrascal: Winner get two pairs. One with signature for bragging rights and hang on your wall and one in your size without signature for use and crashing in.
  • 1 0
