 Road is okay because it helps get you in shape for DH but I personnaly find XC boring as hell, maybe that's just me being a younger person and maybe I'll like XC when I'm older but for now I like the adrenaline of going fast and doing jumps rather than riding across flat ground at 5k/h

 I have been riding downhill for 8years and competing in it aswell so I know the feeling!! But I have always loved bikes and all formes of them!! I just think that xc and roadies get way to much critic for what they do..... Look at a wc race in xc, most of the "cool" downhillracers with their brand new shiny gear and t shirts with neckbrace wouldnt catch them trough the rockgardens they hit! With their hardtails and 100mm forks!
Cant we just agree that bikes in all forms are awesome??

 @capitaineob I know thats true! Young guys that think that they are cool just by the fact that they ride a downhillbike! But in reality they arent any good and all they do is flash their new bikes and kits i the que to the lift....
Just pic a bike that you like and go out and ride it and let everyone else do the same thing!!

 @fatlarry I know its a parody!! Its not the movie thats the problem but all comments from people trashing other cyclist for not riding their bikes as "they" want!! So what that there are people that only ride park??? Thats just what I mean!! Dont mind what other people like to ride just ride your bike!!

 BMBP (bluemoutainbikepark) Really needs to step up their game. They should be investing a lot more in the bike area. Their green season is longer then their winter season. And the way the bike scene is growing in Ontario, I think it would be a wise move.

 They are slowly getting there, just takes cash i guess. They are expanding their offerings in the south end for winter, so hopefully that will translate in a chairlift in the south - that 2km pedal across the top blows. Gravity Logic did a stupendous job on Haole, hopefully we will see more trails like that.

 Ya, i guess we do have Horseshoe, Blue Mtn, Sir Sams, but comparatively speaking, you couldn't do a billion runs there Wink .

 Awesome! My favorite part is the rental guy! Everything he says is SOO true! And the rental guys over here in Châtel are exactly the same except they rent proper bikes which ofcourse they trash cause they don't know how to ride (using brake pads right down to the metal!)

 Basically a 'newb' or beginner. Someone that needs to be taken under the wing of a more experienced rider. Always help the newbs. It will educate them and allow them to enjoy their ride more.
