This doesn't mean Americans are dumb, it just means they interviewed a shit load of people and put the retarded ones on the video to give them a bad rep. It would be the exact same for Canada and lots of other countries if someone did that.

mountnbiker... i dont quite think that Canadians are dumb, we have a mediocre leader, but our people are kinda and friendly, and have respect for each other. Well. This is nice. First off, congrats to everyone that posted negatively about americans, using supporting information from this video. It's 2008 and people are still using entertainment media as a reliable and creditable/ non-bias source of info. Again, Congrats. Second, Why with the bush comments? Any one that is familiar with the American gov/ culture knows that he who has money has power. On the down side, that means the largely populated middle class society does not have much say anymore. That topic in itself is such a large matter which cannot be debated online, never mind on a mountain bike forum. As for the video itself, good job. It's a funny video that I think both non-americans and americans took too seriously. shame on any american that let some small video clip get them upset and become offended. But shame anyone else that uses this as a springboard to shit on americans. don't you have anything better to do? Everyone's so quick to point the finger and say who's not the intellectual when it comes to international affairs or to call someone ignorant. But hey, I'm sure you all live in a town where you have better quality people than other, you all live in a larger community that has better people than others, you all live in a country that have better people than others, but most importantly, you live the same world as everyone else does. Step it up a notch and lets all bleed just a little bit more of our ignorance away and hopefully pointless topics like this wont come up anymore. Lots of americans are stupid as hell, but that doesn't speak for us all...taking this for any kind of evidence of american intelligence is not legitimate. there are very many americans who would do us proud, but obviously they are not recognized in this film. thats fine, but obviously inflammatory.

Let me just start off by saying that there are unintelligent/uninformed people everywhere in the world, and yes the guy above me is right, even I am surprised how unintelligent/ignorant these people are. Think about it the people that made this video only showed the people that had no clue, I mean why would you include a person answering the questions correctly in a biased video! Americans have to realize that this video is from a comedy show. It is not accurate and they probably did edit out the smart people, but thats what makes it so funny. I am sure people from other countries would answer very similarly. And for RMFreak there is a video section named "dumb internet videos" which is exactly what this is, so chill out and enjoy the video.

I thought this was a mountainbiking forum, not a forum for assholes with flip-top heads and beady eyes to make fun of some stupid-ass Texans. Did anyone notice that none of these people are on mountain bikes and there's absolutely no mention of bikes. Honestly, as a Colorado native, I've seen Texans looking a lot less intelligent than this! Now can we get back to mountainbiking, please.

True, some americans are dumb. What is also true is that there are dumb people all over the world. I have met a lot of dumb asses in Canada. And what is with you Canadians always talkin sh#t about us americans? We pioneered almost every extreme sport that exsist today. We are always leading the way and the rest just follow.
