i disagree
it depends what are you jumping - on freeride jumps and gaps it could be better to gain too much speed, but on dirt jumps it sucks more when you got too much speed...i know that just because of my own experience.. i gained too much speed in my first jump on our new jumped and i nose dived an flat between 2 jumps and hit my head very hard...
btw. this craszh was TOTAL HARDCORE!!:O

He was alright, this was on the farkin.net forums. 40ft college gap. Nasty crash, but only the forks snapped. props for trying.

I remeber watching this like a year ago. That was a gnarly crash and to all you people complaining it's alright to have a "crappy vod" once and a while

it's just a crash... it's horrible, Vod's sould be someting godd not bad... even the guy got hurt e jumped that big jump... because it's a crash souldn't be vod

yea i totally agree, if you watch the guy he doesn't seem to receive any abuse after the bike flipped a million times, i think he might have been worse off if he pulled up and took it with the rear wheel

Man thats my best mate, I was there (guy who steps out onto the tranny after it) it was brutal.
Full story goes;He was a good hucker done 30 footers and stuff. He stepped it up and just went to slow. He fell 1/2 a metre short and snapped his 888's this was the only thing on the bike that broke, the frame was fine and all other parts were fine. He lived and came out of it with a few small scratches and a corky.
To clarify a post in previous he did pay for every cent of his bike and to fix it.

like demojames said, I HAVE PAID FOR EVERYTHING ON MY BIKE IN FULL AND TAKE MUCH PRIDE IN MY BIKE RIDING
i dont think the video does justice to how far up the hill i actually was. but obviously not high enough.
also like james said, i was fine after the crash and came out with a small scratch on my shoulder and a corky.
its funny how i really should be in a wheelchair at least or be some what hurt, but lucky for me i came out fine.

Dumb to Dumb Dumb Duuuummmbbb. Does anybody else enjoy riding bikes? That is a sure good way to put an end to that. When are you gonna see that size gap on a trail. Don't get me wrong, I like my share of drops jumps and hucks, just check out my photos, but you gotta know when it is risking your life. Then again I think they were "Aussie" and those guys down under are balls out cray when it comes to everything.
