i swear I've sen an older movie where 2 guys do either the same or very similar gap but one behind the other. it starts with no mention of the train and it just looks like a simple video of two guys doing DH then all of a sudden they come out and gap the front of a train!

I still dont think he actually jumped over it , still looks like he jumped just infront. If he was to jump it seems as tho he would case with the back tire on the train. Pause rewind a couple times and tell me what you guys think? Still an awsome shot non the less super sick!

at first I thought that the videographer was really sitting and filming right in front of the speeding train on the train track then when the shot for the gap jump was taken, it wasn't the same train but anyway, it was a great stunt.

Mega props to the Mike Goldstein for an awesome film and mega props to the rider but please bare consideration for KELLY MCGARRY, the dude who built this stunt for his own project. super good dude and rad rider. the biggest thing in kiwi freeride. he would be too modest to accept all praise in the above comments but he still deserves it, if only...

It's one thing poaching someone's line buts its completely out of line making your film around it. Fair enough hit the gap but dont publish it to the world and revolve your 'race' film around someone else's 'huck', thought racers were against hucking anyway...oh no i forgot its okay its done with a bad style bar turn or mech check (race whip). Kelly would have probably 360'd it and it would have been a sick shot to propel his career. If he does it now, people will say he poached it from this film. Bad move for an aspiring film maker in a sport where your reputation is everything...

ou can't build something like a train gap, in a certin someones backyard and then leave the country for at least 8 months and not expect the locals to hit it, when we heard it had never been landed............everyone out there hating think of that, this is our turf and we don't mind just chill out, maybe you should think when you ride anything else in the area chances are you didn't build that ! I bet I can tell you who did and complain you didn't ask your mom first if you could hit it......
they filmed it a week after kelly had finished building it, just before winter hit.. not 8 months after...

I was driving the train that day and managed to take a grainy photo of the jump from inside the engine, the train ahead of me told me over the radio that it looked like they were going to jump over the train. I have been working on the railroad for over 32 years and never thought that someone would be jumping over a train, that is doing 30 miles per hour on a bike . CRAZY MAN!!!
