Mike vs. Mike: The Clipless Pedal Debate - Video
I respect their opinions, but I use what I like and what works for me. But I am sure there are going to be keyboard shredders that are going to take these opinions as a personal affront to the choices they made and will be shortly chiming in with venom the likes of which we have never seen. I can't wait to watch the show!

Frostbike 2018: Pedals, Apparel, Fat Bikes, and a Golden Fork
I originally bought the iSSi clipless pedals because they matched my bike and I wanted a non-shimano alternative to crank brothers, that wasn't some new cleat standard. I really like how much tighter you can adjust the release on these pedals than a comparable Shimano pedal. they are still holding up after two years of riding on them

Carbon vs Aluminum: Separating Environmental Fact From Fiction in the Frame Materials Debate
@chasejj: I think the real problem you have with the article is that you prefer aluminum. And anything in this article that can be anyway construed as negative toward your beloved aluminum is like a personal attack on you. Or maybe you feel it's a personal attack on your buying choices, like maybe you feel other riders might think you're not a knowledgeable or informed buyer. We get it you prefer aluminum. As for your conspiracy theory, you are probably right. On one hand you have manufacturers that make both aluminum and carbon bikes. I can see why they would want to go exclusively to carbon, it costs more to make and cuts their market in half. A company like Trek or Specialized would naturally want to rid themselves of a $500 aluminum hardtail that they will have to make 20,000 of to keep up with demand versus a $5000 carbon full suspension bike that they'll have to discount half way through the season, to get rid of 300 bikes still sitting in the warehouse. On the other hand you have greedy websites that are replacing magazines. The only way they survive is on advertising revenue and they need to get it any way they can. No one wants to read about $500 alloy hardtails, they want to read about $5000 carbon full suspension bikes. Just like no one wants to read a car website that talks about Chevy Cavaliers.
