If that doesn't make you want to get out on your bike then I don't know what will!

I feel like I'm in the fortunate minority that have found a partner to ride with. Even though riding by myself or with friends is fun, there's something amazing about sharing what I love most with my boyfriend. Hope to make it here someday to ride with him

91

Splitassgrin (Jan 13, 2016 at 18:31)

Totally agree. I love riding with my wife, and we're looking forward to adding our son to the rides as soon as he's able (only just learning to walk).

steviestokes FL (Jan 14, 2016 at 0:22)

Couldn't agree with both of you anymore, I met my girlfriend whilst she was working at a local bike park, and although we don't spend every hour of the weekend on the bike, its amazing when we do get out and manage to go somewhere different, or a local loop.. and to watch her get faster every ride too! perfect time together!

10

MendelMu (Jan 14, 2016 at 6:39)

I used to have that, was one of the best experiences I ever had.

scottrap (Jan 13, 2016 at 12:29)

hahaha i love riding with my girlfriend its so fun cries I don't have a girlfriend

jeremiahwas (Jan 13, 2016 at 14:04)

Video nails it: Guys with a girlfriend/wife will be on the cheaper 1X conversion rather than 1X11.

51

lyfcycles FL (Jan 13, 2016 at 20:09)

My girlfriend has a nicer bike and kit than I do. She's still learning, I've been riding since I was 13...

I consider my girlfriend my girlfriend... and I'm cheating on her every day with my bike

pinhead907 (Jan 13, 2016 at 15:15)

My wife doesn't ride, but my 8 year old son does. Nobody in the entire world I'd rather ride with than that little guy.

50

redbaronmulisha (Jan 14, 2016 at 5:15)

#lifegoals buddy, You know how you hear those guys with 'everything', well I'd say a son who rides bikes is 'everything'

10

solmountain (Feb 1, 2016 at 14:28)

Trails at the lodge are great for kids - lots of short loops in the lodge meadow to keep them spinning laps for hours.

120

iqbal-achieve (Jan 14, 2016 at 2:44)

My partner isn't that into cycling so I got her pregnant, now I just have to wait a few years before I have my own family shredster to ride with.

130

warpdoc (Jan 13, 2016 at 12:08)

Amazing terrain. I'd love to get there at some point!

10

Life's too short to try and find a girl that rides.

Life's too short to NOT try and find a girl that rides .

I feel like one up just made that video to make us happy and selling more chainrings is just a bonus.

51

cgdibble (Jan 13, 2016 at 15:05)

I am slowly getting my wife into riding, but I have been careful to make sure I take her on trails that she is comfortable with. I would hate it if she crashed and then just didn't really want to ride anymore since she is not at the point where she is passionate about it. I can't wait for us to be able to ride like this together!

20

skinnyjeans (Jan 13, 2016 at 23:57)

My wife started to ride also. Some advise would be to slow down and let her see you ride. She progressed so much just seeing what to do and trying when comfortable with skill level. She rips now. Oh, and some women clinics also helped confidence

revelstoke is unreal

30

captaingrumpy (Jan 14, 2016 at 16:33)

Forget stupid gear just look at that place. Teton's and wind river range but bikes are allowed. I had no idea about this area, thought Canada east of the coast was flat like I see from the airplane. Guess I never pinpointed jasper in my mental map. I am such scum! And Seriously need to get up there. Those photos have upended my summer plans.

10

solmountain (Feb 1, 2016 at 14:31)

For sure - come check it out and ride Revelstoke too.

71

roknfnrol (Jan 13, 2016 at 13:07)

I use those products, saved me a ton of cash.

50

Mtirado17 (Jan 13, 2016 at 13:15)

Some of the best rides I've gone on have been with my wife or kids. This place looks stunning.

10

solmountain (Feb 1, 2016 at 14:29)

Its a great place to ride with family - singletrack out the door.

Good video...big shout to One-up, I use the expander and Rad-r cage on my XC bike and its been on there nearly 2 years, can't fault it and their customer service is second to none...cheers lads (and ladies)

10

dhridernz (Jan 13, 2016 at 23:28)

Advertising OneUp on a bike that comes with 1x11 as standard equipment...

Edit: Never-mind that would be the 1x11 expander .

20

Koin (Jan 15, 2016 at 14:23)

Screw being a teacher. Schools out for life! Drop everything, get the wife and bikes, and go ride!

10

dhglei01 (Jan 18, 2016 at 7:11)

So, I started building a Super D, Enduro, and all around trail bike when my wife decided she wanted to ride with me, so now I get to build two.

10

marxthekittah (Jan 13, 2016 at 19:36)

I'd like to point out, at least in the US, you can't actually ride in the wilderness.
