I'm on the wall about the HDR because it's a bit overdone but with the video it still looks pretty sick. Maybe I'm just crazy...

I think this got VOD simply because it's HDR, pretty retarded really. Don't we want to see something that has decent riding in it? IE actually landing tricks?

Eh, wuffy27 darkalleydownhill has uploaded plenty of HDR footage in the past - which would suggest this got VOD for some other reason ie. its cool as feck

How are you creating the HDR? Are you taking the shot. 3 times in after effects or something, the over exposing one and under explosing another then leaving one the same then combineing them by changing the opacity or something?

lol that is how I very first thought I should do this effect, and tryed to make what you just sayed work so many times. I was getting ok results but the exposure of your keyed out areas shifts to much, for it to look nice. you can get back a lot of detail doing that tho; try it but next time, you know when you say make it super bright, del all the stuff that became over 100 % white, and del it then do the same for black. darkening the image then deling all that is too black, then putting that back together. see what you got.

This effect is interesting, but I wouldnt consider it high dynamic range adjustment, if you had captured your shadows, light and colours like you have without the cartoony feel that would be much closer to a true hdr image, CSI miami is a good example, all though they do exagerate the saturation alot of the time and have zillion dollar cameras.

why would you put the only crashes that happens that weekend in a video when there was 3 days of every one riding so so well? no wonder kelowna and people get the reputations.... dumb video. if your going to make something make something that makes are sport look good, not a hole video of crashes.... (other then the superman that was a cool shot) but everything else was dumb. hate people who make vids like this.

lol; I was wondering if that head a real effect. I can make the videos play right as you click on them, but I was thinking if was hurting my quilty. so I did not do it for this one. Good to know it did effect you. I will make sure, it plays right away next time.
