not trying to be a downer but mtb already damages trails and animals - do we really need to add explosions into the mix. The only explosion I want to see is out of a roost...

@DHGallot xD hahaha, ya they normally do, but this one lives under a leaf because lifting up a rock would hurt the environment too much, lol.

Dude you guys are crazy not to think that every time you get on your bike and hit trail that you're not affecting nature in some way- now add explosions - just trying to have some sense of logical thought on here - say what you will but pristine trails with a sense of empathy towards your environment isn't too much to ask - jumps and drops included - but hey if you want to go with the mindset that you don't care then nature will just come back to bite you.

Have you ever been mountain biking? The trails are not wide at all, most of the time they are built around trees and overall hardly have an impact on the environment. And as for the explosions in the video, I highly doubt that they harmed anything. Mountain biking is extremely friendly to the environment, our trails are hardly noticeable to animals as they can just simply walk over them. Now if we were wrecking entire sides of mountains to build tracks because we were afraid of trees then yes that would be a problem but this is not the case. Also, who says that humans shouldn't be able to enjoy the forest like animals do? Why do we need to be blocked out even if we don't have any intentions have drastically harming the environment. Its a balance that you must try to find. We shouldn't tear down forests, but we also shouldn't tell people to stay out of the woods. There is nothing wrong with people choosing to ride their bike through the woods, have a controlled camp fire, or hunt, but when it comes to tearing down woods for lumber is where i'm sure the large majority of mtbers will say is wrong, but these little things we do in the woods that make life so enjoyable shouldn't frowned upon. Hopefully your a good enough listener to read this whole thing @saint4life

no i'm taking your point and building on it. not sure how we are harming the environment by riding trails? Please explain how we do this exactly?

@Saint4life, The thing is, this is just an isolated video shot. If every video consisted of explosions you would have a point.
Now to protect your point and go on Lumber clear-cut site's and in addition go to China/Beijing with your Anti-Pollution propaganda and make a real statement that will mean something. I'm all for the environment but get your Focking priorities straight man !!!

And there was I thinking Richie Cunningham made good films...... what the hel was going on? Should I buy a fat bar and just smash my way cross country? Did I go over board on this autumns fungus harvest? Why did they waste that beautiful landscape for a muddy forest? I am left with a lot of questions here.
