Michelin Wild Mud Advanced

From the Manufacturer:
bigquotesThe "Twisted" block design means immediate performance. The tall blocks plus the steps on their bodies give the tire optimum mud penetration in search of hard packed ground. Whilst in contact with the ground, the blocks twist and straighten under braking and traction. As they come away from the ground, they revert to their original position. This block movement creates a self-cleaning tread to clear the mud quickly ensuring optimized grip under traction and braking. The cutting of the soft Magi-X compound blocks is made easy with the tread guide for a clean and precise cut.

 Will Giro make a cycling jacket called The Shoe?
  • 2 3
 They should call it the Worm-Burner.
  • 4 0
 @bstill30: f*ck Yeah!...
  • 1 0
 It's funny that they claim to have a variety of on point colors and show that butt-ugly blue.
  • 68 1
 Between the 60 dollar gloves and 36 dollar undies I don't know what to buy first.
  • 14 4
 If you ever wear a pair of SAXX. You'll never want to wear anything else.
  • 3 1
 threw out every other brand I owned after trying them. I'd suggest starting with the VIBE first if you are hesitant.
  • 4 3
 @ckalckabar: I bought one pair of SAXX. Don't get the hype. I prefer my 2UNDR or adidas.
  • 43 1
 @ckalckabar: Yeah but if you shit your pants once, they're done. So not worth it.
  • 55 0
 @scott-townes: no its like a helmet, send it to the manufacturer and have them inspect for damage. Good undies can withstand a few minor sharts before they need to be tossed
  • 4 1
 I've learned to spend good money on socks and underwear. Makes the biggest difference in my comfort day to day. Buy quality and it will last. I try to find a deal and buy a whole bunch.

As for the gloves, bought those POC gloves 2 years ago when I forgot mine and there was nothing else available- paid like 60$ CAD. But i have to say that they are my favourite. They fit me perfectly, have held up incredible well, the hand pad reduces my hand fatigue (notice a big difference without them). The knuckle pads are barely there but when you clip a tree you're happy to have them.
  • 2 2
 @scott-townes: apparently Scott has a weak sphincter....lol...this is not in the criterium for my underwear. Not since 1st grade anyway.
  • 3 0
 @mrgonzo: brilliant.
  • 1 2
 @ckalckabar:
Maybe if your'e FEMALE
  • 1 0
 SAXX are meh. Merino underoos are where it is at!
  • 3 0
 Marks and spencer 7 pack for 10 quid. Done!
  • 2 0
 @Mathhhh:

I got the adidas 3 pack at costco for like $17.

They're garbage compared to the underarmor ones. A guy at work that did 2 tours in iraq turned me on the the underarmor ones. His exact words were "these were the only things that got me though that hellhole"

They're expensive at $25 per pair, but they go on sale for 2 for $40 and worth every penny.
  • 1 0
 I know LOL always gets voted down but I laughed pretty good at this one.
  • 2 0
 Man, who wears underpants when biking? ya lose that contact sensitivity that can mean 100's off your strava PB. Use the money to save up for some POC gardening gloves
  • 2 1
 I don't even wear my saxx undies anymore, I felt there was not enough room for my junk and there is no quick access to take a piss. I bought some under armor ones and they are more comfy imo and have quick access to take a piss and more room in the junk dept. saxx is over rated
  • 1 0
 BAWBAG
  • 1 0
 @mrgonzo: I hope they come in brown.
  • 16 0
 I paid $95 for tires once. At Costco for my truck! Puhleeeze.
  • 4 0
 Yeah really. Suck it Michelin
  • 1 0
 @kubaner: Michelin's are like $60-70 for a premium tire, try that against maxis or schwankers at $90....and the silica rubber lasts longer/doesn't shear at the base of knobs. Honestly though. Pretty impressed with the vigilante and the morsa....
  • 12 0
 Picture yourself in the shoes, the underwear and the glasses. Add cape. Instant superhero! !!!
  • 11 0
 50 bucks Can, for underwear. Does it make my junk look bigger for that price?
  • 22 1
 Only if you pack the knee guards or the gloves in thereSmile
  • 6 0
 It better make it actually bigger for that kinda money
  • 2 5
 @rclugnut:
That underwear looks to be made for females, or Bruce Jenner.
There doesn't appear to be any room for adult male appendage
  • 9 0
 New Crampons look so awesome
  • 2 0
 I wonder if they'll give the mags a face-lift too
  • 2 0
 Agreed, it may be my next pedal....once my oozys die....and they will soon, I think the bearings kinda suck....
  • 3 0
 @takeiteasyridehard: I went to the oozys from the crampons because they just wear out and get junky.
  • 6 0
 Looks like poc and Michelin collaborated on grip patches to enhance braking
  • 2 0
 Imagine the sack of your balls nestled in a multidimensional pouch of purified wood pulp. If you're on the fence about SAXX, consider the Ultra Brief Fly for the low low price of CAD $18.17. Be warned though: once you go SAXX, you never go Black.
  • 4 0
 POC's gloves really are quite nice. Decently durable and the best fit I've found.
  • 3 1
 $60 for mtb gloves is ridiculous. I've never had a pair of mtb gloves last a full season.

My $20 mechanic gloves are on its 3rd. I just wish they breathed better.
  • 4 1
 @UtahBikeMike: Try the Mechanix Vents, they have a micro-fiber wipe as well. Been loving mine.

www.mechanix.com/specialty-vent
  • 1 0
 @Albe23:

Those look legit. I'm ordering a set. Thanks for the heads up
  • 1 0
 @UtahBikeMike: No problem man, spread the word.
  • 1 0
 @UtahBikeMike:

Not saying $60 isn't a lot to pay for gloves... but in my own experience, the fit on Mechanix is garbage, and distracting.

My POC gloves have lasted me about 1.5 years on average, and that's 6-8 hours of hard riding per week. With the occasional crash thrown in for good measure.

If I couldn't afford POC, I'd prob buy Mechanix. But it's all about the fit for me.
  • 1 0
 love the SQ labs saddle. Hate the price of tires these days come on we blow through them all the time we shell out for them and we get hosed every time we buy a pair. Would love to see some plus tires for around $75 for my Krampus. They don't need to be bigger than 2.7 as I would love to be able to pedal up as well as tear down the trail.
  • 3 0
 I don't see these sunglass has anything to do with MTB.... Some Pink bike relative make them? ????
  • 4 1
 you're not supposed to wear underwear when you bike...
  • 2 0
 So... Underwear under your chamois? Or are chamois not cool for MTB anymore? I bet the same guys that ride gloveless ride commando. Better stick with the fist bump
  • 3 0
 I commando since the 90's makes you fly over roxxxs
  • 1 0
 The lady rider with the osprey pack seriously needs to invest in some female enduro specific sunscreen for her arms,jesus they are glowing!!
  • 3 0
 I'm sorry, did I just see $36 underwear?
  • 1 0
 The saddle doesn't seem to be available in Canada... It might as well not be listed.
  • 4 1
 I want none of it.
  • 2 0
 The best item in this list is the Scott Grenade EVO knee guards.
  • 2 0
 Did anyone miss the "women's specific" backpack?!
  • 1 0
 Exact same pack as the Viper 9 .. just a different color way.
  • 2 0
 anyone ridden the baron projekt?
  • 1 0
 Mate has barons an loves them
  • 1 0
 Just got on the trail king 2.4 awesome in the fast and loose dirt. The der baron is supposed to be better in all conditions
  • 1 1
 @BigTallYeti: No offense but I don't get that type of answers, is just like saying nothing.
  • 1 1
 @weebleswobbles:

that's what i have in the front right now. i love the compound, wear and volume on the conti 2.4 tires but was looking for something a bit more 'drifty' to high grip on the shoulder a la Minion/HR2. The trail king is grippy but then just lets go. The shoulders on the Baron look like they would be pushed a little further.
  • 3 0
 "SAXX"

lol
  • 1 0
 cannot find that Syncros bottle on their page...
  • 2 1
 those shoes are a bit ... bright
  • 1 0
 They're offered in other colors. Nice to have another fit option in a shoe made for flats. I'm hoping they're on the narrow low-volume side, as the Freerider and Freerider Contacts that I've tried are a little loose-fitting in forefoot. Can't say enough about the versatility of flat pedals for MTB FUN, to which shoe fit contributes. Cheers
  • 2 1
 I wonder how many sacks are held by saxx
  • 2 0
 Underwear???
  • 4 0
 Under there
  • 1 0
 @sdmgz: Metaphors be with You!
  • 1 0
 Half Saxx are only $18.47, but I wouldn't hit a drop over 4 feet in them.
  • 1 0
 Calm down there, them lift pass aren't free !
  • 1 1
 I bet those Giros retain plenty of bootie
  • 3 4
 I saw SAXX underwear and just lost it.
