It is possible... Insanely fast CAF + slower shutter speed + zooming(or maybe unzooming) during the shot
but how long biker must fly in this position? i think it's photoshop

I got a similar effect on a pic by zooming in and out whilst taking the photo, i did it by accident but it looked awesome.

To all those who say this can be done with a slow shutter speed while zooming: You can only do this with a stationary object. The rider is not a stationary object, even if he tries to maintain this position while moving directly at the camera, any slight movement would show up as a blur. There's nothing wrong with using Photoshop because it's a great tool. That said, there's no point in denying it when it's used.

Nor the trick neither the jump was huge. My aim was to render the speed which is why I decided to emphasize the background's blur. I could have done that optically, but the effect would have been miles away from this.
Anyways, I think this was something pretty new, I've never seen this before and I urge you to bring new ideas so you can get POD one day, untill then...enjoy
